Former
Daily Planet Owner Joins Smallville
Posted
by: KryptonSite
Zap2it.com
has reported that Patrick Cassidy, son of Jack
Cassidy
and Shirley Jones and brother of David "Keith
Partridge"
Cassidy, has joined the cast of Smallville with
the episode
"Lineage." He will be playing a character named
Harry Small who may turn out to be recurring.
This
could be especially interesting to Superman fans, as
earlier
in his career, Cassidy appeared in three episodes of
Lois
& Clark: The New Adventures of Superman as
"Leslie
Luckabee," a man who bought the Daily Planet that also
was thought to be the son of Lex Luthor. This time
around, Cassidy
will play a character with a familial connection to
someone
else. (Curious? Read the Spoilers page!)

Shawn
"Leech" Ashmore Talks To Comics2Film
Posted
by: KryptonSite
Shawn
Ashmore, who played "Eric Summers" in the first
season Smallville episode "Leech," was recently
interviewed at Comics2Film.com.
Shawn
spoke primarily about his role as Bobby Drake/Iceman
in the
upcoming movie sequel X-Men 2. But he did,
however, mention
his Smallville appearance. "Far as I know, the Smallville
people haven’t said that they’d be interested
in bringing that character back," he told Comics2Film.
"I think that the show's concept of having new
villains
every show keeps it fresh and interesting."

and
his upcoming movie, visit Comics2Film!

Some
New Looks At "Duplicity!"
Posted
by: KryptonSite
TheWB.com
has posted some screen grabs from "Duplicity,"
which was this week's all-new Smallville
airing on
October 8.
At
the top right, you see Clark and Jonathan (and
apparently Clark
has borrowed one of his dad's cousin Luke's shirts!).
To
your left is a shot of Clark's ship, last seen in
"Vortex."
What role will the ship play in the episode? Visit
the KryptonSite

Finally,
to your right is a shot of Lana. She's smiling. Makes
you think
maybe she forgot her parents were dead. Naaah... maybe
she heard
good news "aboot" Whitney.

John
Schneider on the Radio!
Posted
by: KryptonSite
Special thanks to: Corey from NC
John
Schneider (Jonathan Kent) was featured the Mike and
Morgan
in the Morning radio show on Tuesday, October 1st,
where
he talked about the show, and past series in his
career.
John
of course did the "comparing Clark to a special needs
child"
bit again, and he told a funny story from the set as
well:
"I
have to tell you a quick story," John told the show.
"We're
on the porch of the Kent Family farm last season and
Tom Welling
who plays Clark Kent is looking at me playing Jonathan
- giving
him some serious bit of parental advice and all of a
sudden,
I hear him say, 'Will you look at that car.' And I
turn around
and down the street driving right in front of the Kent
family
farm house was an orange '69 Dodge Charger with a big
'01 on
the door and a flag on the roof."

and transcribing!

Presenting:
KryptonSite's Smallville College Page!
Posted by:
KryptonSite
It
has been brought to our attention that it's becoming
quite a
tradition on campus for people to have Smallville
parties
on Tuesday nights to watch the new episodes of the
show. Really,
a good amount of fans of Smallville happen to
be in college,
and it is our goal as a site to be able to acommodate
them.
At
KryptonSite's new Smallville
College Page, one can find a directory of
where Tuesday-night
Smallville parties may be on campus, and they
can also
get to a message
board with such events in mind. There are even
some partiest
planned for this week, so be sure to visit, and visit
often!
Also
coming soon to the college page: A Smallville
drinking
game! All we can say now is pray Lana doesn't mention
her dead
parents too much, or you could be wasted by hour's
end.
Please
let us know
what you
think of this new idea, and if there's anything
you'd like
to see added, let us know!

Back: Planet Krypton: The KryptonSite Newsletter
Posted by:
KryptonSite
Before
there was a KryptonSite, there was Planet
Krypton,
an online newsletter devoted to the television series
Lois
& Clark. The newsletter evolved and began
covering Smallville
news, and that then it evolved again into what
eventually became
this very website.
Over
the past year we've fallen behind with newsletter
updates, even
though many people did sign up at Yahoo!
to receive the newsletter.
We
still believe that this website is a far more
effective tool
in getting the word out, much more effective than a
newsletter.
However, those of you who would like to be kept
abreast of new
and big things to show up at KryptonSite are
encouraged and
welcomed to sign
up for the new Planet Krypton. It's free,
it may
smell a little bit like spam, but at least it'd be
spam about
good stuff, right? While you're there you can read
some of the
older newsletters, including some that were written
when Smallville
was only in development!
And
of course, even if you're not interested in the
newsletter,
you can always find the latest Smallville news here at
the site.
Please let us
know
how we're doing, and thanks for visiting the site!
