Saying hello to the Squares, moderating a Tribal Council, or making 7-Up yours never seemed so familiar. Former fX-ers seem to be showing up all over the place -- and it hasn't been that long since they all spent their time at 212 Fifth Avenue. So where are they now? Let's take a look...

Jeff Probst
The fXer making the biggest splash during the Summer of 2000 had to be former "BackChat" host Jeff Probst. Jeff, already no stranger to the world of game shows after hosting "Rock 'N Roll Jeopardy," was the host of the biggest hit of the year 2000.... CBS's "Survivor." TV Guide interviews and instant fame followed. Jeff has an independent movie, titled "Finder's Fee," on the way.

Orlando Jones in "The Replacements"Orlando Jones
The former cohost of "Sound fX" is appearing all over the movie screen in such films as "The Replacements." He's also well known for the "Make 7 Up Yours" ad campaign for the 7 Up drink. He's getting a lot of buzz for his talent; don't be surprised if we hear a lot more from Orlando. But Jeff's right -- he still "looks like Urkel."

Tom Bergeron
Tom got a Daytime Emmy for hosting "Hollywood Squares," beating out even Mr. Millionaire himself, Regis Philbin. He's becoming quite a known personality, recently hosting ABC's Emmy pre-show. He and his wife Lois still have two daughters, Cody and Cody. While we're on the suject of the "Squares," though: It is heavily rumored that Bruce Vilanch and Bob the Puppet may have been separated at birth. Tom also recently hosted an "America's Funniest Home Videos" special for ABC.

Laurie Hibberd
Tom's beautiful co-host was lucky enough to escape "Fox After Breakfast" before Tom did. She's done some entertainment features for "Good Morning America" (some at the same time that Tom was hosting "GMA" -- inspiring one of them to comment, "Now all we need is the puppet!"). Laurie married "Live With Regis & Kathie Lee" producer Michael Gelman in 2000, and recently had a baby.

Two Whangs don't make a White.Suzanne Whang
Suzanne hosted several Dick Clark "Bloopers" specials in the late 1990's. She has appeared in several commercials, and has acted in such TV series as "Norm" and "16 Wheels of Justice." Suzanne recently sent an e-mail to this site with a list of all she's got going on, so click on this link and you can read it. She also has a website, www.suzannewhang.com. Suzanne also now regularly hosts "House Hunters", Thursday nights at 7 pm & 10 pm on HGTV.

Steve Walker
Jack the Dog doesn't seem to be present, but Steve has hosted "Appraise It!" on the HG (Home & Garden) TV network. Some episodes of "Appraise" were even co-hosted by the lovely and talented Laurie Hibberd!

Gwen McGee
Gwen has done mostly acting in the years since fX, appearing on episodes of "90210" and "Babylon 5." She is usually stuck into the roles of either miltary or nursing (or both!) She will soon be appearing in a feature film with Lou Diamond Phillips.1

Josh Binswanger
A latecomer to the fX crew, Josh was the anchor for WTTG Fox Channel 5's 10 O'Clock News for several years in Washington D.C. He now hosts a show on the History Channel.

Phil Keoghan
Even though Jeff Probst was the one to get the job, Phil Keoghan was one of the leading contenders for the hosting job for "Survivor." Of course we now know who won.

Spencer Garbett
Sadly, Spencer died in November 1997, an apparent suicide. Spencer is missed by the whole fX family. Before he died Spencer made several TV appearances including a guest shot on "Sliders."
