Hi --
It's me, Suzanne Whang. Just wanted you to know
that after I left Breakfast Time and FOX After Breakfast,
I co-hosted "New Attitudes" on Lifetime with
Leanza Cornett. I also co-hosted 9 episodes of
"Bloopers" with Dick Clark on NBC and had a
BLAST. Dick Clark is a GREAT man. He
remembered me from when he appeared on FOX After
Breakfast on New Year's Eve -- I was Tom's co-host that
day, and Dick came on as a guest. We had great
rapport, really hit it off, and a year later NBC wanted
Dick to have a young, hip, female co-host and he told
them to find "Suzanne Whang from FOX After
Breakfast" and hire her. No audition, no
screen test, not even a lunch meeting! He knew it
would work, and he was right. He let me ad lib and
make fun of him (lovingly) on the air -- he has the best
crew working with him -- and he's a total pro.
Because of Dick Clark, I was also a red carpet host for
the Academy Awards for ABC after that. Now I host a
show on HGTV called "House Hunters", Thursday
nights at 7 pm & 10 pm (check your local
listings). We're already in our second season,
headed into our third season.
I also act -- I did a guest starring role on
"V.I.P" with Pamela Anderson, I have an
upcoming appearance on "18 Wheels of Justice"
on TNN, and I just made my primetime sitcom debut on
"Norm" on February 23rd. And I'm doing
stand-up comedy in Los Angeles now at the Comedy Store,
every other Friday night. Check out my website
at: www.suzannewhang.com (the server is having
problems right now, so be persistent). My "18
Wheels of Justice" episode airs March 20th &
23rd (same episode) at 11:00 pm on TNN (time may differ
depending on where you live).
Thank you SO much for putting together that website -- I
had an incredible time working on Breakfast Time, The Pet
Department, Personal FX, and FOX After Breakfast.
Getting to travel the country and meet great people and
have so many unique experiences has been one of the
highlights of my career!
Peace,
Suzanne Whang
