Breaking Michael Rosenbaum's reign as the top fan favorite, Tom Welling came out on top this year with 4668 votes, or 52% - beating second-place Michael by over a thousand votes. Tom has certainly grown as an actor in the show's four years, and it seems that Season Four was a good chance to show off his hard work. Tom's best performance of the year may have been in "Transference," where he played a Lionel-possessed Clark in such a way that even some of John Glover's mannerisms came through.

A great spot for all things Tom is TomWelling.org.

For the Best Supporting Actor category, Allison Mack as Chloe was the favorite, with 1651 votes, or 38%. Coming in at a close second was Erica Durance, making her premiere as Lois Lane, with 1396 votes. John Glover rounded out the Top Three with 19%.

She didn't take the top spot last year for "Obsession," but boy, does Sarah Carter (Alicia Baker) have a following! Sarah swept the Best Guest Star category with 2977 votes. That's 47%!

Though Alicia may be dead, Al and Miles might want to reconsider and bring her back, considering the character's popularity.

Running in second was Kyle Gallner, who played Bart Allen in "Run." He got 34% of the vote. Margot Kidder and Jane Seymour didn't even come close.

Season 4 went out on a high note as "Commencement," the fourth season finale, was picked as the Best Episode of the season. All of the season's plotlines came together in such a way that you wish the entire season had gone. The episode left fans at the edge of their seats wondering what would happen next, the effects were top-notch, and some character moments provided viewers with some great material.

"Commencement" was chosen by 1933 of the fans who voted, with 30% total.

Coming in second place was "Transference," the "body-switch" episode that provided some really good performances from Tom Welling and John Glover.

To a Clana fan, "Ageless" might not have seemed so bad... but for those who don't particularly care for that pairing, the result of the episode was excruciating.

Perhaps it was because we've seen the "quickly aging baby" thing many times before, and done in better ways, on other shows... or maybe it's because the time would've been better spent building up the stones subplot some more, or bringing back a favorite character like Perry... but something made it so that 25% of the people who voted, or 1760, picked it as the Worst Episode of Season Four.

"Lucy" came in at second place with 21%, and the episode "Spell" - which people either really loved or really hated - came in at third.
