Tyler Hoechlin Discusses His Approach To Superman

The Daily Mail caught up with actor Tyler Hoechlin during the Sydney Film Festival where his new film “Everybody Wants Some” was premiering, and while there, they got some quotes about his approach to the character…. starting with how he’d compare his performance to others including movie Superman Henry Cavill.

“I never try to compare and contrast performances because it’s such an iconic character already,” he told the Daily Mail. “Superman is Superman so I’m just going to try to carry on the tradition of that and play that part.”

Hoechlin also talked about how he is excited to play the Man of Steel’s alter ego, Clark Kent. “I think the fun is going to be finding where Clark Kent is in this world. I’m just excited to find out Clark’s sense of humor,” he said.You can read the original Daily Mail piece here.
