Trailer: Supergirl Returns April 16 With “Schott Through The Heart”

Some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that Supergirl is off the air for two months.

The good news is that we won’t have to deal with any repeats and that means that the current Supergirl season will continue through June!

The next episode of Supergirl is called “Schott Through The Heart” and it guest stars Laurie Metcalf of Roseanne, The Big Bang Theory and Lady Bird fame as Winn’s mother. Look for it on April 16.

If you’re seeking a Super-fix during the hiatus, the CW Monday at 8 time slot will be kept warm by DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which returns next week with a return appearance by John Constantine (Matt Ryan!) Also, about a month before Supergirl returns with new episodes, the series about her ancestors, Krypton, will premiere on Syfy March 21. You can read more about that one here.

The CW aired a trailer tonight, though rather than having a lot from Supergirl’s future, the focus was on the availability of the show on the CW app. In any event, here’s what aired! If you’ve just finished “Both Sides Now” and want to talk about it with other fans, fly on over to our Supergirl forum!
