The CW Is Developing A Superman & Lois Lane Series!

Nearly twenty years after a series featuring Superman and Lois Lane first came to The CW’s predecessor comes news that Superman and Lois Lane are [possibly] coming back to weekly TV!

Superman & Lois will come from super-producers Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns, and Todd Helbing, who himself wrote for Smallville with the episode “Hero,” is executive producing and writing it. The series will star Tyler Hoechlin, reprising his role as Clark Kent/Superman from Supergirl and the crossovers, and Elizabeth Tulloch, who first appeared in last year’s “Elseworlds” crossover.

It is said that the series “will deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.” I guess this confirms rumors that Jon Kent might be seen in Crisis

While Superman & Lois isn’t a sure thing — it’s just a development, and not all of those go to series — a series this high-profile might be exactly what The CW needs for Round Two of the Arrowverse.
