That Was Indeed Justin Hartley’s Smallville Costume In Elseworlds

A Tweet containing photos of some of the props and designs used for this year’s DC TV crossover “Elseworlds” which aired this week on The CW confirmed that what we thought we saw in a teaser was indeed what we thought we saw.

Justin Hartley, this was you: One of the dead heroes shown in the teaser for the crossover was indeed Justin Hartley’s Green Arrow from Smallville. And, apparently, it was the actual costume used for the series, which makes a note of taking off a hood and sunglasses at the top of a scene.

Now starring on the hit NBC series This Is Us, Justin made his first Smallville appearance in 2006 and became a series regular with Season 8. He remained with the series to the very end.

You can watch that teaser here.

With Crisis on Infinite Earths being in the Arrowverse’s future, we wouldn’t be surprised if Justin Hartley’s Green Arrow isn’t the only Smallville character to show up in the multiverse. Someone out there is always holding on to Smallville.

You can see Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim’s Tweet revealing the props below.
