Supergirl: Two Preview Clips For “The Last Children of Krypton”

The CW has released two preview clips for Monday’s new episode of Supergirl, titled “The Last Children of Krypton.”

The first clip features Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) stopping a thief in his car. For one thing, let us praise Blake Neely for giving Superman his own theme music and having it flow so well with Supergirl’s. But for two, the “I’m With Her” quote is a funny coincidence, especially considering that Season 1’s second episode was called “Stronger Together.” Hmm. Now we’re wishing Astra wanted us to “Make Krypton Great Again.” You can see that first clip below.

Cat Grant was Kara’s boss in Season 1, and now her boss is Lou Grant. Okay, not really. Snapper Carr doesn’t have time for any of her “nonsene,” and unlike her relationship with Cat, she might not succeed at turning the world on with her smile. Though we don’t understand why not, since Kara as played by Melissa is such an optimistic bundle of joy and dorky happiness. You can see Clip #2 below.
