Supergirl: Queller & Rovner Promoted To Co-Showrunners

Deadline is reporting that Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner, who Supergirl fans of course know from appearing in many “Inside” preview videos, have been promoted to co-showrunners of the CW series which will be hitting Season 3 later this year. They will be joining Andrew Kreisberg who remains with the show. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter also remain Executive Producers.

This comes hot off the news that Ali Adler, who was one of the architects of the series, has signed a deal with CBS TV Studios where she will be working on new projects and consulting on The CW’s Dynasty. Adler will remain a consultant on Supergirl.

Rovner and Queller both joined Supergirl in the middle of the first season and have risen through the ranks. Rovner’s previous credits include Private Practice and TNT’s Dallas; Queller got her start with Felicity and Gossip Girl.
