Supergirl on Set: Mehcad Brooks on James’ Guardian Journey

Tonight on Supergirl, Mechad Brooks’ James Olsen suits up as The Guardian!

We recently spoke with the actor recently on the Vancouver sets of Supergirl, and during that time he discussed James’ latest journey.

“The world needs more heroes,” he told us. “I really believe that. It’s really cool to be part of that world as an actor, just to look at bad guys and not just pull out the camera all of the sudden or look to my Super-friends and see what happens. It’s a big growth process for James and also for me, because it just makes my job so much more fun. I’m really athletic – I took martial arts as a kid and later in life as well, and I’m finding I’m getting able to use all of my talents, and I’m really having the time of my life.”

Also in the interview, Mehcad discusses the “different world” that Guardian is entering, and he also talks about Winn’s role as James’ confidante in vigilante-land. You can see some video below.

Supergirl “Changing” airs at 8PM tonight on The CW. Subscribe to our YouTube channel for more videos as they become available!
