Supergirl: Jon Cryer on Lex Luthor’s Relationship With Lena

On the March 17 episode of The CW’s Supergirl, we finally meet the show’s take on Lex Luthor who is played masterfully by Jon Cryer.

At a recent Q&A, Cryer spoke a bit about Lex’s relationship with sister Lena (Katie McGrath) — and how some of these toxic relationships should be kept at arm’s length. It is a situation that the Two and a Half Men star is probably quite familiar with.

“Anybody who’s lived with an entirely toxic human being in their life understands, you keep them at arm’s length,  and that’s what Katie’s character Lena has done beautifully,” Cryer said. “It’s just, you know, I get that you’re there. I get that I have to deal with you, but I’m not gonna let you hurt me.”

“Although I did hurt her,” he added.

We should be seeing more Lex and Lena in the coming weeks as Lex Luthor’s Supergirl reign continues. The series airs Sundays at 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
