Supergirl Episode 5 Description & First Photos: “Livewire” With Helen Slater!

CBS has released an official description and two promotional photos from the fifth episode of Supergirl.

The episode is called “Livewire” and here’s how they describe it:

Kara’s Thanksgiving may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Danvers (Helen Slater), who is coming to town, disapproves of her new role as a superhero. Also, when an accident transforms a volatile CatCo employee into the villainous Livewire, she targets Cat and Supergirl, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Nov. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Brit Morgan guest stars as Leslie Willis/Livewire and Helen Slater guest stars as Dr. Eliza Danvers, Kara’s foster mother.

You can see the two new photos below, and more are sure to come later. Guest stars in “Livewire” also include former Superman Dean Cain as Dr. Jeremiah Danvers, Malina Weissman as Young Kara, Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane, and Jordan Mazarati as Young Alex. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Caitlin Parrish wrote the episode which was directed by Kevin Tancharoen.
