Spoiler: James Olsen Will Be Supergirl’s New “Guardian”

Joining Cadmus as another Jack Kirby creation that we’ll be seeing on Supergirl this year, it was revealed today at a CW Q&A that Mehcad Brooks’ James Olsen will be taking on a new alter ego in Season 2.

A picture is expected to come tomorrow, but here’s the scoop: James will be becoming a vigilante, adopting the name of “The Guardian.” Comic book fans know who that character is; we hear the look of the character is very true to the comics. Running point as James’ personal Felicity Smoak will be Winn, of course.

Who gives a hoot about FS? ?? We don't want to read that name in something about Super girl. She is a destroyer of shows!!! Congrats to Mechad, was wondering what role he would play now that he has come over to the network that likes to destroy proper storylines for the sake of shippers.

Frankly, I was hoping Eddie McClintock would return as The Guardian. He did play Jim Harper in an episode last season. But I suppose I can get used to Brooks in the role.
