Smallville’s Laura Vandervoort Cast In Recurring Role On Supergirl

Another Supergirl is coming to Supergirl.

Laura Vandervoort, who starred as Kara/Supergirl in multiple seasons of Smallville, will be playing Indigo, who producers describe as “a living, strong-willed supercomputer that was sentenced to Fort Rozz after turning against the people of Krypton. Now on Earth, Indigo will let nothing stand in her way.”

You can see a picture of Indigo below, and yes, she looks a bit Brainiac-y, doesn’t she?  Laura will be making her first appearance in Episode 15 of Supergirl and we hear that the role is recurring. Now, let’s have a scene with her, Helen Slater, and Melissa Benoist, please?

Stay tuned for more news within the coming hours.
