The witch hunt — or rather, the trailer for the March 24 episode of Supergirl titled “The House of L” — has revealed that Lex Luthor is involved in Russian — err, we mean Kasnian collusion.
“One of our big storylines this season which we have been teasing out is the story of Red Daughter, and so in Episode 16, you get to see that Red Daughter’s backstory does not only involve Red Daughter but [also] involves Lex Luthor,” Supergirl Executive Producer Robert Rovner told us at a recent Q&A hosted by The CW.
“In some ways, I am relating to Supergirl, but it’s a Kasnian version of Supergirl, and it’s fun,” Jon Cryer added. “It’s really fun to play with that relationship because it’s so different, and obviously Melissa is wonderful. By the way, she speaks fluent Russian,” he teased.
“She’s masterful,” Executive Producer Jessica Queller added. “You’ll see the character is so different from the character of Kara. It’s just remarkable.”
“The House of L” will also explore the backstory of Red Daughter via flashbacks.
