Photo: Superman & Lois Lane Revealed

The CW has released an official first look at Tyler Hoechlin as Superman with his “Lois Lane” Elizabeth Tulloch, and if this doesn’t look Super enough to you, we don’t know what Super really is.

The two will appear in the “Elseworlds” crossover airing on The CW December 9 through 11 in episodes of The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl. The photo is clearly staged to evoke the classic film Superman II with Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder.

Will someone get them their own show already? This is amazing.

Hoechlin previously played Superman in multiple episodes of Supergirl‘s second season; Grimm veteran Tulloch will be making her first appearance as Lois in this year’s crossover.

  • Tyler looks better in this poster than the one with Supergirl.

Great way to celebrate the 80th anniversary.
