Melissa Benoist & Chris Wood Are Engaged

While we didn’t get a new episode of Supergirl tonight (February 10) we did get some exciting news for two of the actors from the show!

Melissa Benoist revealed to her many fans on Instagram tonight that she and Chris Wood are now engaged to be married!

“Yes yes yes it will always be yes,” she posted.

The two former Supergirl co-stars – Chris appeared in Seasons 2 and 3 on the show as Mon-El, where the two had great chemistry on screen and off – have been officially together for quite a while.

May we suggest a karamel– err, caramel flavored wedding cake?
