Lena Luthor’s Mom Is Indeed “Lillian,” Kreisberg Confirms

This week’s Spoiler Room feature at Entertainment Weekly had quotes from Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg confirming that Lena Luthor’s mother, as played by Brenda Strong, is indeed named “Lillian Luthor,” just like Lex’s late mom was in Smallville. (Does this mean there’s a Lionel out there? Please let there be a Lionel out there!)

“You’re supposed to be left wondering how involved Lena is,” Kreisberg said to EW. “We’ve seen that Lillian Luthor is somebody not to be messed with. She clearly wields a great deal of power and scientific knowhow. What exactly is her relationship with her daughter, and exactly how much Lena is involved with Cadmus, makes up part of the excitement factor for these next few episodes.”
