Erica Durance To Reprise Smallville’s Lois Lane In The Crisis Crossover

As if yesterday’s Tom Welling news was not exciting enough for Smallville fans…. Erica Durance, who first played Lois Lane on the series in 2004, will also be in this year’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, reprising the role of the intrepid Daily Planet reporter. As a bonus, The CW’s press release is noting that Erica will be appearing in MULTIPLE EPISODES of the event which airs in December and January.

Again, we will be seeing what Clark and Lois are up to “almost 10 years after Smallville.”

This isn’t the first time we will be seeing Erica, who starred for several years on Saving Hope, in the Arrowverse. Previously, Erica played the role of Kara’s Kryptonian mother, Alura, on Supergirl.

Erica Durance is also not the only “Lois Lane” to appear in CrisisElizabeth Tulloch, who made her debut as the character in last year’s Arrowverse crossover Elseworlds, is also returning.

Crisis on Infinite Earths will run through five of The CW’s DC TV shows in December and January – Supergirl, Batwoman, Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and The Flash.
