Actors'
Strike Not Happening
(7/4) Zap2it.com reports that a tentative agreement
has been made between the actors and the major film and TV studios,
which means that the potential strike of actors has been averted.
Earlier this year it was feared that actors *and* writers would
strike, and that forced many movies and TV programs into production
a bit earlier than scheduled. The writers came to an agreement
several weeks ago.
"No actors' strike" means that this fall's TV (including
Smallville) should
come along as scheduled. Filming for episodes #2 and beyond of
Smallville should begin
near the end of this month.
