Sam Jones III grew up in Boston, Mass., where he acted in local commercials. He then spent a summer with a friend in Los Angeles and decided to pursue a career in acting. Soon after he graduated high school, Sam relocated and it seems he's been acting ever since.

Sam received great ciritcal acclaim for his lead role in a film called Zigzag, playing an autistic young man. He also once appeared with Allison Mack (Chloe) in an episode of The Nightmare Room on the Kids WB!

Sam left Smallville with the episode "Forsaken," and returned in Season 7 for "Hero." He now stars alongside "Aquaman" Alan Ritchson in the TNT TV series Blue Mountain State.
