Issue
#9 of Smallville Magazine is now hitting comic book stores.
The issue features two covers - the Diamond exclusive comic
book store edition features Erica Durance (Lois) and the newsstand
version features Erica with her "cousin" Allison Mack
(Chloe).
Inside
are new interviews with Erica and Allison, plus a new interview
with Peyton List (Lucy); part two of the "Inside the Writer's
Room" feature; new Ezra Small; an Erica Durance poster;
and more.

are some highlights from Abbie Bernstein's interview with Erica
Durance:
On Margot
Kidder and Teri Hatcher as previous Lois Lanes:
"I think both ladies did a really lovely job of playing
the part. Obviously I was quite a bit younger when I watched
Margot Kidder, so the impression that stayed from when I was
a young girl watching was of a woman who was getting rescued,
but yet didn't need to be rescued sometimes. She was very intelligent
and gutsy, and that made a huge impression on me. As I got older,
more in my teens, then I was watching Teri's version, and she
brought a whole new element to it. Both of them were at different
stages in my life, and I think they did a great job."
About
appearing in the show's fifth season:
"There are always open discussions about what's going
to happen for the next year. Any character could have a long
life on the show or not. Lois can't die, but she can always
choose to move somewhere, and that's something that's being
discussed right now - and I don't know the answers."
On working
with certain other characters (obviously answered before "Lucy"
was filmed):
"The only character that I haven't worked with yet is
Lex, so I think that would be fantastic," she says. "I've
only worked with the character of Lana a couple of times, and
we've had a good time. I would love to work with Lionel again
- I've only had one scene with him so far, so we'll see. John
Glover is very, very good!"
