Kyle
"Bart Allen" Gallner Speaks In Smallville Magazine
#5
Issue
#5 of Titan's Official Smallville Magazine, which is
now hitting newsstands, has some very nifty features including
new interviews with Michael Rosenbaum (Lex), Miles Millar, and
Margot Kidder (Dr. Crosby). One of the highlights of the issue
is an interview with Kyle Gallner, who played "Bart
Allen" aka the future Flash in the recently-reaired episode
"Run."
Here
are some highlights from Kyle Gallner's interview with Paul
Simpson:
On
if he'd return to Smallville:
"They're all great people," he says enthusiastically.
"I would go back in a second."
On
preparing for the role and researching for it:
"They just told me that the character was a street-smart
super-highly strung kid who talks faster than his mind can think.
He just does what he wants, and has no regard for anything --
that's pretty much all I was given."
On
Bart's influence on young Clark Kent:
"I think Bart helps Clark out. In the sense that he
accepts his powers. He goes with it, and doesn't think that
they are a curse. Clark always seems to think that they are
a problem, and I kind of told him to lighten up a bit!"
Also
in the interview Michael shares a very interesting story relating
to the filming of "Shattered," and there are highlights
of Lex Luthor's essential moments.
In
addition to the Rosenbaum features, Smallville
Magazine
#5 includes new interviews with Margot Kidder (Dr. Crosby),
executive producer/director Miles Millar, and Michael Rosenbaum
(Lex), a new feature about Ezra Small which even includes a
K-Site shoutout, a look at the Kawatche caves, and more. Look
for it to be hitting newsstands now.
