G.I. Joe Returns!

Welcome to the new location of Craig Byrne's G.I. JOE page, now here at KryptonSite. Why the move? Besides being a shorter URL that's much easier to type, it will be alongside Craig's many other KryptonSites for 80's animated series such as MASK, Silverhawks, and the Centurions; as well as the main page, KryptonSite.com, which is devoted to the WB Network's upcoming series Smallville.

Besides the move there's some VERY big news to report...

Image Comics, with Devil's Due Publishing, will be doing an all-new G.I. Joe comic book series which will begin publishing in September 2001. The new title will pick up several years after the disbanding of the Joe team from the Marvel Comics series.

Old friends and foes like Snake-Eyes, Duke, Scarlett, Cobra Commander, the Baroness, and Destro will all be on hand.

Comics Newsarama did an interview with upcoming series writer Josh Blaylock which you can get to by clicking here. There are also some preview images at the site.

The series will be drawn by Steven Kurth with covers by J. Scott Campbell of Danger Girl fame.

Also in big news... the 3 3/4" figures will soon be back with a vengeance! We're talking new molds here, and an excellent new design!

Look for more updates soon!
