I have decided to stop working on the Metropolis series, mainly because I have no idea how the fate of Smallville will go. So I have decided to work on a new series: Batman Beyond. If you have never heard of this series then you can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_Beyond

The story will take some time to write and I plan to get the complete season 1 for my birthday so I will wait until after I watch it to write the story. The tentative release date for the first episode is 5/21/09. I might have it sooner or I might have it later, but until I do, I will be providing spoilers and titles.

WHO IS THE BATMAN? - As the new Batman, now known as the Knight of Tomorrow, becomes more and more popular, media begins to search for the alter-ego of the new vigilante. Meanwhile, a student at Hamilton Hill High claims that the Batman is an evildoer. Can Terry prove this student wrong or will the Batman's reputation put him off the streets?

HAVOC CREATES PROBLEMS FOR TERRY - As Derek's mysterious project leaks throughout New Gotham, Terry begins to realize that it is effecting people differently from his father: it seems a small group of people are gaining strange powers. Trying to stop this, Batman finds himself fighting a group of super-powered Jokerz. Meanwhile, Dana begins questioning her relationship with Terry once he begins disappearing all the time.

TERRY GETS BATWINGS - When a meta-human with the power of leap high starts robbing places, Terry and Bruce must find a way to catch this thief. With the help of advanced technology, Bruce creates some "batwings" that allows Batman to take flight. Meanwhile, Connor Jr. begins to question his father for why he has never talked about his grandfather, Connor Hawke I.

DEREK RETURNS; A NEW GREEN LANTERN APPEARS - While on a mission for Bruce in New Coast City, Batman tracks down a series of power surges. -Just like in the official description, a new rendition of DC Comics character Green Lantern will appear in this episode. The character is totally new(he has never been in the comics), and his name is Stewart Halner. This is homage to Green Lanterns JohnStewart, Hal Jordan, and Guy Gardner.

-Derek Powers will be returning in this episode.
-Terry will be sent on a mission by Bruce while Bruce gets to the bottom of Derek's return.

-Bruce is going to be trying to stop Terry from doing something drastic. But the only way to catch the Batman is to fight fire with fire.

-An infected woman will make Terry witness Bruce's past.
-The woman will be making Terry and Bruce witnessing each others' past by putting them into a "coma" or more of a sleep type mode. While they're asleep, she will be stealing things from Wayne Mansion. Expect he to be working for someone surprising.

-The title refers to the "secret" project Derek has been working on.
-This episode is set in an alternate world where Terry never became the Batman.
-Apparently with Derek's return, he has worked on a serum that sets the Batman in a coma-type state that makes him see alternate realities.
-You know how it was hinted that Bruce would be dressing as the Batman in 1x07 Takedown? Well, when Terry is injected with the serum, Bruce will be suiting up again to save him.
-Terry will see Derek's project being leaked all throughout New Gotham, and will see his friend being taken over by the toxin.

-This episode centers around Connor and his family tree.
-We wil get references to some DC Comics characters in this episode.

-Another set of toxins are released throughout New Gotham, this time even more deadly. However, the citizens have warning and are told to stay in.

-This is the continuation of the previous episode.
-Terry and Bruce will come face to face to the "legend."
-Connor will realize he has some special talents that takes others years to learn.

So it would be a hypothetical live action adaptation of Batman Beyond then? I don't know that much about it, but I think I saw an episode or two. It has a lot of potential for creativity without it interfering with 'canon', such as it is. No blending of universes needed or anything like that.

I haven't really got into the Batman fanfics at this point, but it might be an interesting read.

Yeah, that's exactly it. I have a rough outtake of how the season would go, but I still need a lot of work. I watched about three episodes at my brother's house and I thought it would work really well as a live-action television series.

Derek Powers sits at his desk, looking very evil-like.

And the only sole hero

INT. WAYNE MANSION - BATCAVE - NIGHT

A very old Bruce Wayne puts up his Batman suit which is new. It is all black except for the red bat symbol in the middle.

Hangs up his suit

BLACK.

A new hero must rise from the ashes

EXT. NEW GOTHAM - STREET - NIGHT

A black figure jumps and attacks the Jokers.

INT. WAYNE MANSION - BATCAVE - NIGHT

I have added a kind of new/original character. He is Connor Hawke III I don't know if Connor Hawke(the second Green Arrow/illegitimate son of Oliver Queen) ever had a son, but since this is an alternate universe to the comics I decided to make him have one. This character will be the grandson to the second Green Arrow. However, Connor Jr. will never know that his grandfather was the Green Arrow and this will kind of be the arc throughout the season for his character and the plot will run through the series. He will be one of Terry's friends. I decided to make him be played by Benjamin McKenzie.

Also, 1x05 title has been revealed. It is titled "Leap." Plus, a spoiler for 1x02 has been leaked.

I really have no idea who would play Matt McGinnis(Terry's little brother). There's not a lot of young actors that are well known so just imagine him being a little kid that looks similar to Terry.
