The Wedding Dress Thread

I know some aren't looking forward to a Chimmy wedding, but I think it is more than past due for us to have a fun and friendly thread about.

So even if not everyone likes the idea of a wedding I'm sure everyone would like to see Chloe is a pretty gown.

So I thought we could put up our suggestions in this thread and have fun with it. Bridesmaids and Maid of Honor suggestions for Lois and Lana are also welcome, and of course tux suggestions for the guys, but let us face it, the dresses are the funnest part!

I like this one a lot. It is simple but pretty. I hate dresses with too many sequins or beads and they feel heavy too. I like that this one has straps but they have some fabric to them, like partial sleeves. The bell shape of the bottom I also like and the train isn't ridiculously long.

I like this one too and it doesn't have a train. It isn't your typical gown and I like the satin flowers that wind around the shoulders. The model doesn't have the best figure but I'm not holding that against the gown, and AM has more cleavage going on then the model they used so I'm picturing it that way. It has a vintage original feel, and that is Chloe in a nutshell.

AM does have nice legs and it IS suppose to be a country wedding, so for a simpler but still elegant look, I like this one. Short enough on the skirt to show off her legs, but still long enough to seperate it from a regular gown.

This is actually very similar to the gown that "I" want for myself, because I'm a gal that likes a splash of color and I'm busty and it's pretty. But Chloe probably would like color too and being that it's a winter wedding, maybe something holiday themed a bit, but not overboard and AM looks good with a halter.

Chloe seems to like strapless dress. All her nice dress so far have been strapless.

But I adore the second to last one you posted LLL. I really want Chloe's dress to be simple, fun and elegant. I love the shortened skirt and the embroidery. It's elegant but also very fun and unique. If the Chimmy wedding happens I want it to be in STARK contrast to the Lexana wedding. So far everything else has been: the courtship and the proposal...

I like the last one too. I definitely think that old school Chloe would add a splash of color to her dress. I don't know if Chloe would now though.

Me too. Lexana was all designer and stark and cold, most of the people there business associates of Lex. The Chimmy wedding should be warm and familial, with pretty pleasant attire.

I love that dress you picked. I think lace goes well with Chloe Sullivan.

Much like the Lexana Thanksgiving was cold and stiff and the Kent Thanksgiving was warm and comfortable.

Here's an Alfred Angelo, he always has nice simple dresses that aren't exorbitant in price. A lot of people in my family that have gotten married have had his gowns.

This dress is really lacy too and ultra feminine.

I really like this one with the wine ribbon on it. It is a Maggie Sottero, also nice dresses at nice prices. I'm not looking for the high end stuff, it all feels runway-ish to me and a lot of them lack the warmth I'd want to see at a wedding. I know it doesn't turn out good, but it should have been PLANNED to be pleasant.

I cant really picture Chloe in something big and poofy...especially because it's [SPOILER] an outdoors wedding [/SPOILER]. So I'm thinking she will be in something sleek and form fitting. Or thats what I would do...sorry...I let my super girl show for a second there!!

I like that one, even with the straps. I get from the general consesus that most of us feel Chloe would like lace dresses that aren't overly poofy or big huge designer affairs, but simpler dresses. Also a lot of shorter ones that show off her legs.

Yep...Chloe doesnt really scream "Cinderella poofy dress!" to me...
I agree...maybe something shorter...with lace would be perfect for her.

Wow. I love all these wedding dresses! I just hope Chloe's wedding dress fits her and makes her look like the Gorgeous girl she is...And not like in 'Toxic'...I also hope her dress isn't at all like Lana's wedding dress...I know it was a designer dress and all, but personally I thought it was horrendous...

I agree, I dont know why.....but for some reason they seem to take away from Chloes beauty when they dress her up. I didnt love the toxic dress (but I guess it made sense going along with the global warming theme) I also didnt like her dress/hairstyle when she went to the prom. Dont get me wrong...she looked amazing...but we've all seen her look better. So hopefully the writers let her look amazing. Though...I dont think chimmy will last, its still going to be nice to see Chloe all dolled up.

Chloe's been dolled up a lot so far this season hasn't she? Not that I mind...I love seeing the cast all dressed up!

I just hope they do her justice on her wedding day! I mean I don't think Chimmy will last either...But Chloe should still be the most beautiful thing in the eppy...It's her WEDDING day for crying out loud!

ITA, I didnt really like Lana by the point of her wedding..but I do remember she looked amazing. So...lets hope thats the case for chloe.

I hope they'll choose a dress that suits AM. Same for the makeup. AM is so beautiful and so tiny... they shouldn't "hide" her in an enormous dress or behind bad makeup.
