Chloe, in cohoots with Tess had him killed. It wasn't Zod. Zod told all his troops to release Jor-El. Alia was among those troops btw. They didn't kill him.
- First scene after the opening credits, Clark says he'll speed off overseas to search for the symbol. This would have taken mere minutes. And he would have been back in plenty of time to meet Jor-El at the farm. Instead Chloe insists that he take a slow ass plane with Ollie so that it would occupy them both for HOURS. What sense does it make asking Clark to use a plane instead of him just superspeeding over there? Only one answer, she wanted him away for a while. And what do you know, Chloe just happened to find Jor-El at the farm. Right. - Then at the farm, Chloe says she tried to called Clark but couldn't get through, but who shows up instead? Tess and her team. Think about it, Tess has not been able to find one Kryptonian since the freaking premiere. She's had no luck at all locating any. Yet she mysteriously finds Jor-El at the farm really quick. Right. Chloe called Tess and told her Jor-El was there. Tess sent people over and kidnapped him. Both of them are similiar. Moochers, love handing people envelopes (last episode), and have wacked out ideas about "protecting" Clark and aren't afraid to kill to do it. Last edited by Fallen One; 11-07-2009 at 12:45 AM. |

Love all the Chloe conspiracies! But it isn't going to happen, although you all would love it.

Nah it was Ollie. Remember he said he "had Clark's back, always"? He was sarcastically referring to the events of the finale-that-shall-not-be-named. Once again he shot another El in the back.

*rolls eyes so much they almost fall right out of his head* Come on... seriously?! Chloe? Rrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. In the episode where they reveal that happened, it'll be the same one where Lois declares it's always been her ambition to be an ice cream vendor, Oliver will hang up his quiver to join a traveling circus, and Zod elopes with Lana and moves to Guam.

Oooh! I got it! I KNOW who killed him now... It was Whitney Fordman, reanimated as a (sort-of) zombie as part of the Blackest Night comic story arc!

Seriously, though, I can't figure out who did the dirty deed... Chloe wouldn't make the least bit of sense, especially after all she said to Jor-El about how amazing Clark is and how proud he'd be of him, blah blah blah, and what Clark did for her with telling her mother all about her in "Progeny." She'd never backstab Clark like that. But Zod doesn't make 100% sense either... Unless he'd waited until the last possible moment for him to get to the farm and THEN killed him, or had one of his operatives do it. And speaking of that, how did Jor-El even GET to the farm in the first place? Did he RUN all the way from that warehouse, which I'm assuming is in Metropolis? Wouldn't that have taken him like... a couple of days? Or are we to guess that he hopped a cab or rode the bus? ![]() --SGuthrie ><>' --

Lex. I have no freakin' doubt about it. I posted a theory here:
http://www.kryptonsite.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=135435 To sum it up, Lex had the biggest motive of killing Zod. Lex knows what's going on. I'm sure that was really him who Oliver saw in Echo. He knows that Tess is working with the Kandorians to exploit them for their technology and is using his company to do it. He is furious about this and how instead of killing them like Lex would most certainly do, she's using them. So what better way would he have to kill Zod than to kill Jor-El while knowing Clark would blame Zod and then go to kill Zod himself. So Lex wins 3 ways if his plan works: 1. Zod is dead. Lex gets his revenge on Zod's possession of him. 2. Lex destroys Clark by getting him to kill Zod. This is Lex's revenge on Clark. 3. Lex either corrupts Clark to the point where Clark joins him, or seriously ups the ante in the legendary Clark vs. Lex war. If I'm right and this happens, I will be bowing in front of my TV when Lex shows himself, because that bastard is a true genius. |

^LOL!
I don't think it's Zod because Jor-el said he didn't know who did it to him. It could be Tess or Alia or Chloe. Knowing how sneaky and twisted Chloe is this season, I wouldn't be surprised if it was her who did it. It's not like she's never consciously killed someone before. |

It was Colonel Mustard with the lead pipe in the study!
But in all seriousness, I don't think it was either Zod or Tess. Minions? Always a possibility. What happened to all the Kandorians? There was like only 7 in this episode. Even if no one murdered Jor-El on his way back to the Kent Farm theres no way Zod's scrawny fists should have fatally wound him. As for the Lex theories, as awesome as that would be for Lex to scheming again the timing isnt right. I don't want Lex to be used as a convenient out for a plot hole. "Oh who cut the cheese?" "It was Lex!" lol |

I think Zod had Jor El killed. After releasing him, he obviously followed him every step of the way. That is how he would find Clark. Chloe killing Jor El is about as likely as Shelby doing it, IMO. If she did, we have one helluvan arc for her coming this season. |
