Goodbye Jericho! CBS SUCKS!

CBS has apparently nuked "Jericho," dismissed "Class" and closed the book on "Close to Home."
Net wasn't commenting Tuesday, but several people familiar with the situation said none of the skeins has been given a series order for next season. "Close to Home" had been considered near dead for several months now, with "Class" on the longshot list, but there had been speculation that CBS would exercise some patience with "Jericho."

The only to shows on CBS I actually watched are cancelled (Jericho and The Class). Well at least Smallville and Supernatural are coming back.

well outside of Jericho....i watch NOTHING on CBS......and im sure theres a reason for it....your are correct...they do suck.

I must admit, outside of a couple of episodes a few weeks ago that were truly awesome, Jericho just hasn't lived up to it's potential. I'd love to see it get another season and be given another chance to be awesome, but I can see why they nuked it, it just wasn't as well written as such a neat concept deserved to be.

While the show was definitely original in concept....it did seem to focus more on survival then the mystery of who were the ones that bombed us. I was a little disappointed on that front, but the show definitely deserved a second season.

At one point it was rumored that Jericho would go to Fridays on CBS for Season 2. I think it would have done well there. I think the people working on Jericho were talented, but the scheduling and promotion/publicity just didn't add up.

Bad move by CBS. Both The Class and Jericho. First of all Jericho went up against American Idol which averages about 25 million viewers, it can't compete with Idol. Move it to another night and see what happens. Maybe if the fans complain, they might bring it back. I doubt it, but who knows.

Well this is complete and uter BS this was one of my favorite shows on TV and to me I hate it when networks do this I will not watch another show on FOX because of them pulling John Doe the way CBS is about to pull Jericho. Better they pull a show after a few eps then let us get attached to characters. Man I am so pissed at CBS.

I'm not surprised that it got canned. The writing was horrible, the research crappy and the set location wasn't very Kansas at all and at least to me, wasn't very realistic. However, the ratings sucked at the end. CBS did drop the ball on where they placed it but the mid season off period was dumb which lead to even more lower ratings. Its over and there's nothing that can be really done at this point. Maybe if the DVD set is released, if at all, if sales are strong, maybe another network will pick it up, but I wouldn't be holding my breath. At least they didn't pull a FOX and can a show with only 3 episodes shown. But the show is done for now.

Some episodes were boring, some episodes were so bloody brilliant that you just had to scratch your head and wonder why they didn't make every episode THAT great. I don't know what it was, but the show just didn't live up to it's potential except for a few key episodes. Still, just because you heard it was boring doesn't mean you know it's boring. If you really care then see for yourself. If you don't care and it doesn't pique your interest at all then don't bother. But don't let what you "heard" make your decision for you.

The Class was okay, but not nearly as funny as How I Met Your Mother.

Ok...I was just telling you guys what I've heard from people who've seen it. I have nothing against this show. Clearly it was somewhat popular since there is a section devoted to it on K-site.

I liked this show but this seemed like it was coming. There were definately problems with this show. I think it could have really been downhill especially considering they killed off a main character in the last episode.
