~ VERY SHORT ONE-SHOT (Chlois?) ~

And so, dear readers, that concludes "Smallville", the Daily Planet's Special Documentary Series on Superman's early years. I am eternally grateful for having been given the chance to research and explore such an interesting coverage of our world's greatest hero.

I thank you all for your loyal following of this story with me, and for your support as shown by our record breaking number of sales.

" ... And as some of you may already know," Lois continued addressing the crowd, "the rights have recently been sold to be turned into a major television series, appropriately titled 'Smallville'."

The applause went on for longer than Lois expected. When it finally died down, several people had their hand raised for questions.

"Yes? " Lios said, pointing to a tall blond haired young man.

"There are rumors that you were really the person you label as Chloe Sullivan, the woman who married Superman, in your expose. Could you comment on that?"

Lois hoped the twinkle in her eye didn't give her away as she responded in a most professional manner to the not unexpected question.

She still felt confident in her decision to create the name Chloe Sullivan to represent herself in the series, (while at the same time creating a fictitious character named Lois so she could be shown as having some firsthand knowledge of the main persons involved.)

She chuckled as she began, "Well that is indeed flattering as it shows our talent for such complete and thorough research and investigation that it makes our account appear first-hand!" She flashed them that dazzling signature smile, of hers.

There was more applause along with some laughter.

Tears welled up in her eyes, and most onlookers would assume she was overwhelmed with the awards and recognition that had been bestowed upon them.

But taking a moment to glance over to her co-author and husband, --not so long ago known as Clark Kent, until the exposure of his secret identity-- the real reason was bursting in her heart.

After all they had been through together they had finally reached this point in their ever twisting and turning, bumpy and amazing road of life.

They had survived so much together, had experienced so much, the pleasures along with the heartache, and here they stood, still together , with the deepest of secrets, and with the deepest of love, the world has ever known!

Awwwww, I think this has to be one of the best one shots ever. And I just love how Chloe, I mean lois's response, its so her. There is not a better feeling to share something, a sercret between someone you love, especially the person you care for the most, it is so touching. *sighs*

You did such an amazing job Khyla, very well done.

Lovely, sweet, and so very much in character for (Ch)Lois to keep her poise and laugh off the questions! And I love it that *both* Chloe and Clark are world-famous heroes, and therefore need to use pseudonyms!

You created an original and very enjoyable world in just a few paragraphs--Great job!

Where did I get the name "Jordan Elliott" ?

In case anyone doesn't know it already and was wondering, I googled "Superman Alias" to find it.
Wikipedia says it was one of Superman's alias' in
Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? - DC Comics ....

In my story the twist I intended is that the real Lois Lane originally wrote "Smallville" using the name Chloe Sullivan to represent herself in the series, and Clark has to now use a new pseudonym (i'm assuming his identity was exposed somehow).

And the 'Lois' character of the "Smallville" series was simply a ficticious character made up by the real Lois so she could be shown as having some firsthand knowledge of the main persons involved.

Can y'all follow that?
