No More FOTW!!!
The only reason the shows have freaks of the week is so Clark can use his powers. I reather see less powers and more dialogue. Some of the best episodes have dealt with Clark and his powers, but were focused on the mythos and relationships Clark has. There were enough episodes toward the end of Season 3 that seemed to be moving in the right direction. Forsaken sucked, and the timing to rehash old FOTW was terrible. I hope that season 4 really shines away from the FOTW.

Well... I have nothing against bringing back a FOTW who would be expected to go back to Smallville for whatever reason.

i like FOTW once in a while, but your right as the show goes on there should be less and less of that. We've already seen all the things clark can do and its getting kind of repetitive. S1 was a FOTW almost every episode, S2 and S3 were a little less, S4 should be maybe 4-5 FOTW episodes

4 or 5 in a low 20's season would be alright with me....but looking back on the adam arc, i think that's where the show should be going. i didn't like adam, or the story that went along with it, but the rushing of episodes like whisper was ridiculous. the show should mature with 3 or 4 storylines that extend for multiple episodes. someone else needs to find out clark's secret, he'll get a new power, but mostly s4 should concentrate on lex's turn to the dark side and clark's plans for the future now that he's "graduating".
