Triplet,
What a treat it was to see that your Idol review was up earlier then expected this week.
I've been a longer time reader of your reviews, but I only recently signed up on the board. I've always enjoyed the insights you have for each episodes as you are always constructive in talking about all aspects of a episode, from the plot, the writing, acting, direction, music, and filming. It really makes me rethink and take a second look at a episode.
Thank you for all the hard work you put into all your reviews and I can't wait to read your next one.
I was also curious to know if you will ever go back to review the earlier seasons once Smallville is over with? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts about those episodes.

I don't think you could have written a better review for Idol, that episode snuck up on me. I thought it wasn't going to be that good with bad references to the geeky twins (which is pretty cringe worthy for me since I am a twin) but it was actually funny. I do agree that Lois and Clark really stole the show, their scenes together were fantastic and with all of the flashbacks to the future, I'm really looking forward to Pandora.

Hey triplet,
I am not new to the site i have been reading your reviews for a long time just finally signed up to the board to finally give thanks for the read. one thing you didn't bring up in your Idol review the origin of the wonder twins pertaining to smallville that is unless i missed it in the episode i didnt see why the have powers ( if meteor infected powers, aliens). I may have to re watch the episode sometimes i do miss things lol. thanks again

Hey Triplet, as far as the orb taking away Clark's power in the finale of season 7, it gives the answer in the episode. The blue kryptonite that was used against the clones was the same thing that took away Clark's abilities for awhile. Maybe when Zod and his army get their powers in Pandora everything will come full circle.

I think your review for Kandor was a lot better this week, I'm surprised that you didn't mention Chloe having cameras in Clark's house though. That seemed too easy and a cop-out to me and it bothered me the most. I also loved how Chloe said Clark's had feelings for Lois since the 1930's, that was very funny. I agree about the casting of Jor El, a great actor but he didn't look much like Tom. In fact I'm wondering if Clark is the milk man's son, since his mother and his father were both blonde and Clark has dark hair! What is that all about?!

I'm ashamed to say I've never read one of your reviews until now. My loss. Your review of Kandor is excellent. I'm probably one of the oldest readers of this site, so I post seldom, but Smallville has haunted me for the past nine years as the best take on the Superman mythos yet. The past two years have only made the show better and your insights seem to bear this out. Thanks for the cool observations. I promise I won't miss what you have to say again. Great review.

Hi Triplet, I don't usually post on these forums, but had to tell you that I love your reviews. Thanks for doing them. I like to watch each ep, read your review, and then watch it again. By the way, I also live in the Mobile-Pensacola (Mobile) area. I can't wait to read your "Idol" review.

Hi “Triplet,” glad you’re doing better. On your “Crossfire” review, you stated that if the show doesn't focus on Clark Kent then it needs to end this year? It makes sense to focus on the "lesser" characters for a change. Not to mention the fact that the writers just finished their most extensive season ever (Season 8) and they may be tried. They managed to connect and sum up everything thus far while driving the series into a new direction. I do completely agree with you on the fact that Tom deserves to expand his horizons but I’m not ready to lose Smallville. There is a vast amount of material the series can still tackle. I’ve noticed is a serious lack of screen time with BOTH originals (Clark and Chloe). Something else to consider is the fact that the staff and show runners have recently shifted to nearly an entirely new crew who have huge shoes to fill. I have the up most confidence in the show, its cast, and most of all, its writers to make it last past Season 10.

Just a head's up - Louis Febre didn't compose that theme for "Good Morning Metropolis". Just FYI.

I was thinking about what you said regarding it being a possible unrealistic stretch for Oliver to take on an apprentice. You made the comment that he would need to learn more. Well one always needs to learn more no matter if they fall or not. The key is not that he forgotten things, but that he chose not to do what he knew was right. He just needed to make a choice to do what he already knew. It is like driving a car after an accident. You have not forgotten to drive. the best thing to do is get right back behind the wheel and be more careful but not fearful. I think this is the same way. He is back on track he knows where not to go now. having a partner to train helps keep him behind the wheel, careful, not fearful, and push himself a bit farther because now he has someone other than himself to be accountable to.
