Best 3rd Episode of the Series?

Do you think this is the best third episode of the series?

Season 1 "Hothead": A hot tempered coach (Walt Arnold) who starts fires with his mind.
Season 2 "Duplicity": Clark reveals his secret to Pete when Pete starts getting suspicious.
Season 3 "Extinction": Someone is out to get meteor infected people and some people on his list are Lex and Clark.
Season 4 "Facade": A meteor infected beauty treatment transforms a girl (Scabby Abby) but makes her kiss harmful.
Season 5 "Hidden": Gabriel Duncan has his computers and missle armed to take out one thing, Smallville.
Season 6 "Wither": A girl of nature (Gloria) turns out to be deadly for anyone who crosses her path.
Season 7 "Fierce": A festival in Smallville is host for some meteor infected girls whos plans are aimed for uncovering and stealing some treasure. Lana Lang returns.
Season 8 "Toxic: Oliver Queen is poisoned and left with a few hours to live. He starts having flashbacks of when he was stranded on an island with Tess Mercer.

EDIT: I voted for Hidden. It was a nice wrap-up to the Clark Kent no powers thing from Season 5 IMO. My second and third choices would've been Extinction and Fierce (as much as it's hated, there were parts of it that were redeeming I guess). Okay...maybe Extinction would come before Fierce, but it's not by a BIG gap or anything. JMO.

It's between Extinction, Facade and Toxic. I didn't like Hidden. Don't get me wrong Clark stopping the nuke was great but... meh.

My favorites are :

Hidden - My choice for best third episode. I personally think this episode is a tad bit overrated myself as people often call it one of the best, if not the best episode of the series. I don't hold it in that high of a regard. However, I will say that this is the best third episode. As a whole, this episode has a very epic feel to it, and one of the best FX scenes of the whole series.

Duplicity - This is a very close second for me, and I find this episode to be very underrated. I personally always liked the Clark/Pete relationship and I like how this episode explores it. The scene at the end with the "superdunk", is one of my favorites of the whole series.

Hothead - My third favorite. I personally love this episode. I am a huge fan of Dan Lauria from Wonder Years and he did a fantastic job as Coach Walt in this episode. I also liked the episode because you get to see Clark trying to fit in and do something normal. It also shows Chloe being the loveable reporter, some great FX scenes, and a nice Clana scene at the end. One of the few that I can actually stand. Plus, this episode had some great music in it with Renegade Fighter at the beginning and Motivation during Clark's touchdown run in practice.

Other than the ending that showed Tess as evil & a far different person than the one we saw trapped on the island, I didn't like Toxic too much. Clark was barely in it & Chloe was back to her self righteous ways after being so good last week.

Hidden by far was the best. Not so much for the villain or his plot but for the emotion and drama. That scene where Clark gets shot still leaves chills up my spine when I see it. His resurrection by Jor El using Lionel and his piggy backing the missle into space made me cling to the edge of the my seat when I saw it. Then the embrace from Clark's parents and Lana when they discover he still lives. Great stuff.

i really can't understand why everyone is voting for hidden, but meh... i mean i felt no emotion, because i found that scene where lana stumbles out from the room very forced and badly acted. plus it started a plot that i hated so much

i saw duplicity as the clear winner... pete finding out was such a big deal back then, and it was done so well. they explored everything and Pete proved himself completely.

For the first time ever I voted for the newest episode. I hadn't realized how much I didn't like the 3rd episode of the season until I read through these. Toxic, I felt, was much better than any from the past.

It was almost a tie for me between "Duplicity" and "Hidden," but I ended up choosing "Duplicity," because it was the classic first time that one of the people closest to Clark found out his secret for the first time. Pete can always brag that he knew the truth about Clark before Chloe, Lana, Lionel, or Lex, and that made it a pretty memorable episode. It was certainly one of the best Pete-centric episodes EVER. I liked the action-packed quality of Hidden, and it had some great Chlark beats to it, but there were other elements I could've done without.

The others on that list, in my opinion, are a pretty sorry lot -- not much competition there, period. Well, but admittedly, "Toxic" was pretty good. It just can't stand up to the other two aforementioned episodes.
