...Or lack thereof...There was plenty of Lo...Where the heck was the Chlo?...:(
I thought the Chlark hug scene was awesome I just didn't like that Chloe let her cousin lay there unconscious after being tazed for busting into a building trying to save her..I thought she would have ran to her while talking to Clark...But that didn't happen... *Sigh*...I miss the cousin love...
Getting saved by Clark and trying to tell LO to not get knocked out. And then in return trying to save Clark. She knew something was up so she left her. Honestly what was she going to do? Sit next to Lois and wait?

No, I just thought she and Clark could've hugged and then she sees her cousin lying unconscious on floor and runs to her...While in the midst of Clark telling her he's mortal and blah blah blah...That's all I wanted just a little Chlo-Lo love that wasn't so one sided...I think it would've been a nice touch...She was totally justified coming out to see that Clark had been shot and everything else...But a little cousin scene in between that would've been nice

Err...no. But it would have been nice to at least look a bit concerned that her mortal flesh and blood cousin just risked life and limb to come and rescue her and got hurt in the process. I'm not expecting her to not rush to Clark's side, but before Clark got shot they could have had that "I'm mortal now" conversation while she was rushing to Lois' side to see how badly she was hurt.
It really isn't that much to ask for.

I agree. But I think the Chlo-Lo is dead. And I don't have a problem with them not showing it, I would rather they kept the scene with Clark, Ollie, and Chloe then have a Chlo-Lo reunion.

I still have hope...Lois still has to have her talk with Chloe about Jimmy...*holds onto hope*

How can Chlo-Lo be dead, they are cousins!! :\
I'm hoping it gets better...and I'm willing to chalk this one up to chloes curiosity, and really just being bombarded at that moment. Wondering why clark took so long to save her....finding out clark didnt have any powers, so how the heck were they going to get out of there??
But I agree....I miss the chlo-lo

Don't worry. I don't think the Chlo-Lo is dead..it's just not emphasized..plus there has been horrible writing that undermines it.
I'm sure anyone can make a list of offenses under Chloe and Lois and blame each of them for their lack of affection. Everything ranging from: Chloe leaving Lois on the ground to Lois "ABSOLUTELY" line..
When the chips are down though, the fact is that:
1) Chloe died for her cousin
2) Lois has risked her own death for her cousin as well
I don't call my cousins to tell them that I love them..and some of them I'm not even that close to..but that doesn't mean the love isn't there.
Also, based on interviews, it seems Lois and Chloe will share other scenes together and stuff

Well I really hope that amid one of those shared scenes, there will be some real scene where they show that love in a two way, not when one is unconscious, etc. Let them have a cup of coffee, let them be sitting on Lois' bed, eating ice cream, watching TV and discussing Chimmy or something. Let them at least show that they actually live in the same apartment!

Well, considering that this is a TV show and we have the writers that we do have, things like that happen very often. The writers have a specific element they want to get across and they tend to over look major things to get that element or moment across. For example: In the last season opener we have Chloe who has just come back from the dead and instead of Lois running to her, hugging her, or even questioning her on how she is or WTH happened...we have Lois make her comment to Clark (in regards to the bizarro scene). The writers obviously wanted a response to that more so than Chloe suddenly being alive again. And with this one they want to push Chloe and Clark rether than Lois and Chloe.

I don't think that's true at all. They just didn't have time to show the Chlo-Lo reunion. I'm sure Chloe was very concerned about her cousin she just didn't have time w/ so much going on.

I absolutely agree with that. There are just some things they want to focus on more then others. So last season premeire Chloe risks her life for Lois and this seaosn Lois risks her life for Chloe. That shows me that they both care about eachother a great deal.
So all of this Chlo-Lo is talk is so not true. We've seen both of them fight for eachother. We just haven't seen the tender moments. Maybe we'll get more of that this season.

I think this season will have more Chlo-Lo, or so it seems.
Yeah, that scene wasnt very good for the Chlo-Lo, but I think this season will have more then the last couple have.

But we DID get a Chlo-Lo moment this episode. Remember when Tess caught Lois investigating the mansion for clues on where Chloe is, and then Lois angrily defended Chloe and said "The only thing Chloe is guilty of is standing up for her beliefs," and then she glared defiantly at Tess.
I thought that was a great Chlo-Lo moment, even though Chloe herself wasn't in the scene. It shows how much Lois loves her cousin, and is willing to fight for her.

I definitely think there will be plenty of chlo-Lo scenes, but I am somewhat sad to see that Chloe is not going to work at the DP with Lois. I think that would have been wonderful. Its weird to see Lois as the reporter when we had 7 seasons of Chloe as the intrepid reporter.
Yeah, that scene wasnt very good for the Chlo-Lo, but I think this season will have more then the last couple have.
I just think that it was the writer's lack of attention to detail and logic. They know that there is a fan base for Chlark out there and since Clark is the hero they decided to have Chloe hug him rather than the logical choice of checking on her cousin.

They can't use all of the scenes they film. I bet the cousin concern will be on season 8 DVD set. Besides after Chloe was saved it then turned into time with Clark and his big death scene which was worth missing a reunion of cousins. Hopefully we will see some special moments between Lois and Chloe in the future to see the cousins closer together.

Yeah it would make sense if there were a few scenes on the cutting room floor. It's easy for me to imagine a few things in offscreenville... Chloe hiding Lois somewhere before running down to try and heal Clark. Chloe and Oliver saving Dinah and AC. Chloe and Clark reuniting after Clark comes back to life. Confused Lois waking up in her apartment and Chloe's very... interesting lies. *shrug*
I also thought that Lois' defense of Chloe at the beginning was great. Also Lois and Clark coming to Chloe's rescue, bantering all the while was very Crusade/Gone. The Chlo-Lo was pretty good in this episode even though Chloe and Lois didn't share much screen time.

Is it all really new? Like when in the begining of season 5, Lois left Smallville to go in Europe without wondering about Chloe who disapeared after the tornado?
The writers just doesn't care to always show that the cousins showing concerns for each other. For this one moment are we gonna discard how Chloe cried over Lois when she ''died'' at ther end of season 6? Its more a writing problem not the characters having a problem, IMO.

^I completely agree. I happily fill in the holes in Chlo-Lo. I blame writing deficiencies not the characters. I'm not saying their relationship had never been strained but... Chloe was worried about Lois when the guy behind her was about to zap her.

I agree. I loved it. They just didn't show that much attention to Chlo-Lo's interaction. but I just loved Lois standing up to Chloe in front of Tess. And Lois and Clark fighting their way to save Chloe. It was great.
I am sure we will get a lot more Chlo-Lo screen time w/ Chloe's impending wedding. Chloe's going to need her cousins advice.
