View Full Version : Does Hiro really Need a new Arch Nemesis?

I just watched all of S2 in one sitting, and from what I've seen there is no one else better set up than Adam to be Hiro's #1 archvillain. The deep-seeded Hate, the ambition, The imperative to destroy the world that's just as strong Hiro's desire to save it, it's all there; exactly what does this new Speedster girl have that could possibly qualify her for that same place? besides speed that could balance against Hiro's power? In an interview Masi referred to the speedster as Hiro's "Joker" I say why?? if she and Adam teamed and became an item THEN!! and only then could we have something similar to the Joker & Harley team. That's just my opinion.

Adam is way too easy for Hiro to handle first of all. It's just *squint* *decapitate*.
I'm thinking that this speedster girl is going to be the anti-hiro, in that Hiro is the ultimate honor-laden, righteous dude, and this girl is going to be just extremely irresponsible, happy-go-lucky, selfish villain. Hiro sees that he's the only one that can counter her, and takes on the responsibility of ending her crime spree or whatever, and eventually converting her to the good guys.
Litle bit more bizarre

I think that new archvilain for hiro have ability which could block hiros I mean that he can stop time but if she so fast maybe she will be just slow as normal human when he stop time and she will be enought powerfull to be for him danger
Adam can t even hurt hiro but she maybe could

i would be annoyed if the writers did that, it shouldnt matter how fast the new villian is, when hero freezes time even she should be frozen. She cannot manipulate time and space, so if hero freezes time she will be frozen too.
If hero slows down time, then she would be at normal speed, but im sure hero could slow down time to a point where even she is as slow as a snail.
The main problem im asuming hero will have is that before he can even freeze time she would have superspeeded off miles away

Is Daphne Hiro's new arch nemesis? LOL! I figured she was more likely to be his new girlfriend. Daphne and Hiro are pretty much the same at this point. Yes Hiro doesn't work for anyone committing crimes. But they both are immature, selfish and naive. The both don't fully grasp or even care about the grave consequences to their actions. They see what they can do... as a game somewhat. Doesn't sound like an arch nemesis to me. Batman and Catwoman was the perfect analogy. Playful adversary.

Hiro referred to Daphne as Catwoman to Batman...not Joker...even though Catwoman isn't Batman's nemesis it's still what Hiro said. But if Daphne was like his Joker to Batman and if her and Adam teamed up like dru-zod2501 referred to Joker and Harley. Then wouldn't that make Adam...Harley? :rotfl:

I completely agree with ya on that one onslaught. Mean Hiro stops TIME and she just runs super fast...mean even if she was faster than the speed of light that still wouldn't be faster than time...she'd have to be faster than time. Ok i don't think any of what i just said makes sense but maybe you can get an idea what i mean.

Exactly i think Batman and Catwoman is a wonderful illustration. Though sometimes Daphne reminds me of Chloe...maybe it's the hair. Maybe Ando kills Hiro cause he's jealous of Hiro and Daphne lol. Loved the whole Ando saying "well maybe it's time for this Robin to fly" bit.
