Billie Piper admitted she had to reacquaint herself with Rose Tyler's accent before returning to the role

The actress returned to the BBC1 sci-fi series on Saturday as the Doctor's sidekick, Rose Tyler - and viewers were struck by the change in her.
Piper had developed a lisp and appeared to have difficulty moving her top lip.
The BBC messageboard was inundated with comments from baffled viewers.

I noticed she spoke differently, but I just attributed it to the fact that her mouth was tired, after playing Belle du Jour for a whole season. :p

OR.... maybe she ate all of the bees. :lol:

I heard she went to the dentist before filming turn left, and that her voice will be back to normal for tonights episode.
