this episode is going to be amazing~!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!

When I heard the clip for next week it got me wondering exactly who she is supposed to be but in last weeks episode made me think she's a companion from the future sort of like Martha is.

Then I got wondering if perhaps that comment about going to the end of the universe with him and he actually did take her there made me wonder if perhaps there's another pair of candidates unless he went back to sort out Utopia...

She could be anybody, maybe a grand daughter for all we know.

How do you make a second part as good as the first?

Simple.

Employ Steven Moffat. 5/5, get that poll on here! :)

Cheers Randy.

Seems to have been well received on the 'net too. However, my brother Alex only says 2.5/5. Heathen ;)

"Silence In The Library," & "Forest Of The Dead"....Fantastic story!
I'm totally satisfied with that ending. The last few minutes made it even better, after the doctor went back for her screwdriver. :p
This is got to be one of my favorite Moffat stories so far. River Song is too cool for words.
I'm just sitting down to follow it up with"River Runs Deep" now. :D

A little strange, but the story elements particularly with doctor moon were interwoven impossibly well.

Yeah, that was strange that CAL & Dr. Moon were actually the computer & keeper of the mainframe. Good writing though, tying it all together like that.

I also liked that Donna was looking for Lee McEvoy (her mainframe reality husband), but just missed him. Maybe he could somehow turn up in her future. :)

Does anyone else think that the Doctor must be incredibly cold as he obviously knows this woman very well in the future but the future Doctor never told her that he saw her die in the library, i know he's a timelord and he will not interfere with a persons fate as such but to me it seemed like he was raising a lamb for slaughter.

Good episode though.

There's no way he'd tell her - it's not cold, it's the right thing to do. It'd be a hard enough burden to carry, but The Doc's never been one to tell people how they're going to die. Plus, don't forget that he also knows that he saves her.

Altering paradox's that he's already part of is the sort of tinking that got his home planet destroyed.

I wonder what the Doctor's real name is?

i absolutely loved this episode, so why would the doctor tell her his real name , is it his wife?

TMLS

Maybe he only told her because it was the only way he'd trust her - make himself think that it was the "reason" why he did it when it wasn't...

Either way, he's going to have alot of time to think about it.

HE CAN OPEN THE DOOR OF THE TARDIS BY SNAPPING HIS FINGERS!

i thought although the doctor lives linearly , the tardis does not so maybe there are a lot of surprises the doctor never knew about to find out later.

Thats generally what i've always thought, but he can sense and vaugelly see through time and space.

Did any of you watch the confidencial? That just made my mind boggle, the shear amount of continuity they have to deal with, and the amount of Doctor Who history and mythology that they play around with: successfully, every time.

Randy G.

Yeah, I saw that. I always watch the weekly confidential episode.
I consider it an integral part to the whole viewing experience.
Either that, or I'm just a bigger nerd that I originally perceived myself. :\ ;)

Brilliant story climax! Prof. River So9ng knows the Doctors real name, great! But what does that mean? We must meet her again, definately!
