Looks pretty good. It's good to see Alex Kingston. :)

Best episode of the series so far. Moffat hasn't lost his touch. Roll on next week!

Edit:

Ooops, forget to change the episode number, Randy or Craig, could you oblige please?

Best episode this season, Stephen Moffat is such a great writer. Pulling in characters who are instantly memorable, and even if the episode wasn't as powerful assome of his others, its still better than the other writers.

Did anyone see the Doctor Who Confidential? Because it was A.W.S.O.M.E.

Moffat: Well it was the most horrible fate i could have given Donna, so i had to give it to her.

Yep, Confidential was unmissable as always :)

It was a pretty good ep, especially the 'ghosting'.

But that professor whatshername from the doctor's future was annoying, I really hope she won't be a future companion.

In face I'm hoping she's not from his future at all, she just read about it from the tardis coloured book (his biography?) and had been lying to him for whatever reason... that was she can be killed off with no timeline problems.

What was so annoying about her?

Hard to say. Maybe its her 'I know something you don't know and I'm not telling' attitude. Or the fact that someone we don't know is acting awfully chummy with the doctor, even though she knows he hasn't met her. She revealed just enough 'spoilers' to get the doctor on her side, but never said or did anything helpful and was rude to the others... its hard for me to trust her.

Or maybe its knowing that a character who had zero chemistry with the doctor will be back in future episodes.

I'd be surprised to see Kingston back too much, she's far too busy with other stuff.

Well she said to the doctor that she'd never seen him look so young, so she is probably faaar into the doctors personal timeline future, this will be the last time we will see her unless Dr Who continues for another 30 seasons (which its probably capable of).

She recognised him straight away, meaning she knows the tenth doctor, who will only be sticking around for a few more years.

Done. :)

Loved this episode. Moffat never fails to surprise me.
Making a monster (The Vashta Nerada a.k.a. "Pirhana's Of The Air") from the basic fear of the shadows around us. Brilliant!!!:D

Alex Kingston is fantastic. I love to catch her in anything she does. I used to watch E.R., & fell in love with her back then.
Apparently she plays a big part in the Doctor's future, so I do hope we'll get to see her in greater capacity at some point in the 2009 specials, or the next full season. She has the blue "Book of Spoiler's," and her very own Sonic Screwdriver. How cool is that?!

Also, "Shadow Play" was one of the best Confidential episodes I've seen to date. I enjoyed it as much as "Silence In The Library" itself.
Alot of great music packed into Shadow Play. Great use of Foo Fighter's "The Pretender, and absolutely perfect use of Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet," and Gnarls Barkley's "Run."
What were some of the other songs used? I'd love it if someone could list them for me.

Now, I'm gonna' have trouble waiting until next week, for both episodes.

I hate these two parters, it's just cruel making people wait a week to see how the Doctor will get out of the predicament he and his sidekick are in.

That said it was a top episode and i can't wait for next saturday 5/5.
