View Full Version : Doctor Who #4-7 "The Unicorn and The Wasp"
Absolutely loved it. Was brought up on Christie thanks to her being my Nan's favourite author, and have a fond childhood memory of going to see the play she also wrote that's the West End's longest running, "The Mousetrap". I think they really got the tone just right, and the mystery progressed perfectly. My second 5/5 of the year, for this :)

I really liked this one. Murder mysteries are always good. I do always love the "stuck in the house" feel to the Who episodes, much like Tooth and Claw. 4/5 stars

Really great episode, the CGI was exceptionally good, the wasp didn't annoyme as most of the cgi sometimes did.
Story telling methods started off annoying but i got used to as it went along, enjoyed it by the end.
4 stars.

I have to admit that i thought i was going to hate this episode, but it was really good, the interaction between the Doctor and Agatha was great, Donna was good aswell (i'm not finding her half as annoying as i was expecting). 4/5.

I really enjoyed this one. 4 stars from me. I always enjoy the period specific episodes.
The murder mystery/ Agatha Christie angle was wonderful, but IMO the wasp storyline (however of a great CGI visual it may have been), didn't blend as well with the other elements, and felt somewhat forced. It reminded me alot of the episode with Queen Victoria, and the Werewolf. Now THAT blended extremely well.
The bit of an ill fit, was the only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating. Otherwise, I loved it! :D
