(Original air-date May 03, 2008)
Episode Synopsis: The Sontarans continue their evil plot and begin to "choke" the Earth. The Doctor and Donna, now teamed with Martha Jones, have to stop them!
Can they save Earth before it's too late? (Part 2 of a 2 part story)
If you don't mind spoilers, you can can catch the trailer HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0BEBrk4SBU). ;)
4/5. Didn't live up to the first part. Just off to bed, may bother to go more into it tomorrow! Just back from Iron Man and buzzing from that...

Well it was pretty darn good, but not as awsome as last weeks.
It was good to see the valiant again, nice to see that UNIT was atleast capable of defending themselves in the end (i wonder where Torchwoods big laser got to?) because i occasionally get tired of humans being COMPLETELY pathetic, good to see some better Doctor/Donnar interaction.
Can't wait till next week, Doctors daughter looks HOT, man, she would put Kara to shame.

"Are you my mommy" Great little tidbit there. Also, did you guys see Rose when they first contacted the Sontarans via video?
Loved this episode!

when will this air on BBC america?
I think you're around three weeks behind on there.
And to be terribly pedantic, it was "Mummy", not "Mommy" - he's not from America. Or Dudley. :D
So like I said, good episode just not as good as last week. Big continuity issue - UNIT's decision to nuke the Sontaran ship. Erm hello, as mentioned above (but not spotted when I wrote this!) haven't Torchwood got an advanced Alien ship destroying death star-style eye thingumy hidden away in London? Sure Jack would have let them use it. Common thinking on some other forums seems to be that Harriet Jones is back in power prior to her return later this series - surely she'd have used that regardless of UNIT. Or has she learnt her lesson? Or want to keep a low profile for "some" reason? ;)
Spotted Rose, lovely little blink and you'll miss it moment.
Next week's looks interesting, the Doctor's Daughter looks pretty fit in both senses of the word! Well done Mr. Davison...

I enjoyed the 2nd part of this story better than last weeks. Donna is certainly going from strength to strength as the series progresses. Next weeks clip however was confusing thought the first Doctor William Hartnell ran around with his granddaughter so how can the blonde girl be the Doctors daughter she looks to young unless he had quite a large family.
She'd be a time lady - age is not part of the regeneration process. Compare Hartnell to Tennant, Tennant's much older but looks much younger :)

Really enjoyed this episode, just as much as last week. So far this season is the closest the new series has to the old series. If feels very whoish.

Much better than the dismal first part (which was much better than the Daleks Take Manhattan).

I thought this was a really good episode, i was most impressed with the "are you my Mummy" line so much so that i hit rewind on the tv controller straight away just to make sure i'd heard it correctly, The Rose cameo was very quick, i can't wait to see th Dr's reaction when they finally meet up again.
