Anyone notice Maggie Sawyer in this episode?

I saw her name in the credits and I was like Holy [Mod Edit], Maggie is in the episode!!! The continuity was sweet. The even clarified the retcon by explaining that the creamed corn buyout was just a cover up. Ya continuity!!!

It was nice to see Maggie again. The few times she's been on, she's been a pretty decent character and this time was no different. With an investigation under way, I hope, is there a chance we will see her again in a bigger role? I hope so.

I just finished watching "Exposed" (Season 5 Lois strips and Luke Duke guest stars), it was a great Maggie Sawyer episode.

I was a huge fan of Insurgence. I remember being so stoked when she first appeared.

At the time I was thinking 'She's just like Maggie Sawyer', and then she said her name. Awesome moment.

When we first saw her in Descent, I thought it might be her, but I wasn't sure. Very, very nice continuity there.

I don't recall if they ever mentioned her name. But I did recognize her. I do remember a moment near the end of the episode "Exposed" where she had this interesting expression on her face when Lois kneed that guy in his crotch. It was as if she got such a big kick out of it but she had to act all professional.

Yeah I really surprised the writers remembered her character. She's showed up three times as a glorified Smallville sheriff Nancy Adams (although cooler because Maggie's actually in the comics), and yet they can't even remember the grating hypocritical statements that Lana has made towards Clark.

Thank you, I already knew that. As you can see from my post above.

All I am saying is that on this show Maggie was treated like nothing more than the 'sheriff' of Metropolis (of course metropolis doesn't have a sheriff but you know what I mean).

In other words she's basically been the 'sheriff' equivalent whenever something bad happens in Metropolis that requires law enforcement.
