I think this is the first time Lex finally opened up his heart to Clark!
He says he's used to look up to Clark, saying Clark inspired him alot alot.
He says Clark is the son that both Johnathan and Lionel would rather have.
He told Clark off by saying if Clark was ever the perfect son, how come Johnathan always seemed to stress about it?
It was a pretty good scene, you can feel the hatred, anger and frustration from Lex in their conversation.

This was a master class performance given by TW and MR, although Michael's performance was definatley a little better.
The part just after Clark said, "Maybe Lionel knew he could just trust me", and then Lex spilled out a short monologue of hatred right back at Clark's face, awsome, sooo much tension.

Definitely, u know how Clark usually just walk off or Lex saying get out of my office. This time they actually stayed in the scene for abit more and Clark actually stayed to listen to wut Lex had to say about their past.

Friend of mine always blamed Jonathan and Clark for Lexs' change, but I digress, Lex was always evil, he always saw Alexander as his weakness. And by episode end, he cured himself of that little thing we call a conscience. Yea Lex!!!
