When Is Doctor Who Coming Back To The CBC?

Do any Canadian fans know when the good Doctor will be making his return to the CBC?

Last I read, and not bettered on Google, is "October". Bizarre.

CBC just isn't telling anyone! I want more Doctor Who and Torchwood! There's hockey and the summer Olympics so I wouldn't be surprised if we have to wait for freaking FALL! Like they can't have these shows on now. There's a bunch of junk on there right now.

And I found RE-RUNS of series 1/27 of Dr. Who on BOLD. It's a new CBC special channel along with DOC which Rogers digital cable is giving a free previews until April 28? I think. I just happened to notice DW on at 8pm this last Tuesday. It was episode 3 of series 27. It repeats Thursday morning at midnight and 3 am. Just wish they were running it 7 days a week so I get catch more before the preview is over! I missed most of series 28 because I wasn't paying attention to CBC's schedule. Now I know to look more often.

So I guess my hope that CBC would re-runs series 27-29 (1-3) is dashed. They want me to pay extra per month for the Family Fun pack instead! grumple.
