Part 2
At Will’s lab in a San Francisco apartment building:
Someone knocks on the door…
“Hello, Will? It’s Tina.”
“Tina? Or should I say PLATINUM? What do you want?” Will questions her.
“Look, we…I, need your help with the team!” Tina explains.
“Well, it looks like you’re handling the team alright by yourself. So, why would you want me and my help?” Will questions her.
“I miss you working with us. We need a leader, and it’s NOT ME! So…well, I was hoping that…um…you would…” Tina (Platinum) tells him.
“Come on in Tina!” Will replies opening the door.
“I thought you would need my help and I AM looking for a way to cure you and the others. So, I made some room so you and the team can stay here.” Will explains to her.
“Good. I’ll let the team know!” Tina tells him.
The next morning:
The others…
Mel (Mercury), Nick (Iron), Tim (Tin), Grant (Gold) and Leon (Lead)
Nick is carrying a couch in. “Uhh-man, this isn’t so heavy, but it makes me sweat!” Iron tells Will.
“So, this is our headquarters. Our new home…the METAL MEN headquarters!!” Grant exclaims.
“Sure Goldilocks!! Whatever you want to think!!” Iron tells Grant.
“So, is their any hope that I can, you know, get back to my family, Will?” Iron asked Will.
“Yes. I’m working on a cure right now!” Will answers Iron.
Later that evening:
Will works on a cure. Leon will be coming in from a movie in a few. Gold will have just come from watching a movie with a girl on a date. Platinum watches Will work his gut off on a cure…
“I need to re-create the shot. Gosh, I hate my…” Will explains to Tina.
“Take it easy, Will. You need a rest. Come on, let’s go to the park for a few minutes.” Tina tells him while grabbing his hand and pushing him off the chair.
“But Leon and the others, they…” Will replies.
“…won’t be home for a few more minutes. No one will be back for awhile-let’s go!’ Tina tells him.
“Okay, but only for a minute.” Will agrees.
At the park, a few minutes later:
Will and Tina talk…
“So, remember in high school, we did some stupid things, but you said ‘we could NEVER be together’…Why?” Tina questions Will.
“Just because…” Will answers.
“Well, we CAN be together now! Will, that sun is NOT my lips! These are…mmm!!” she kisses him.
“It’s been a long time Tina. I have to go.” Will tells her.
A few minutes later:
Will and Tina are kissing in the lab.
Leon (Lead) and Grant (Gold) walk in…
“What the devil are you doing Will? I want to become normal and you’re making out with your girlfriend?” Leon (Lead) asks Will.
“Um…well…you see…” Will explains.
“Don’t lie to me Will! I’ll leave you to your girlfriend! Man, I’m out of here! I quit!! And the other thing, I know the truth…we were created in test tubes…so you could use us!! See ‘ya!” Leon walks out.
“I was created in a test tube??? You lying son of a gun!!” Tina slaps Will’s face.
“Something, I…? I was created in a test tube?? I’m ‘outa here!” Grant (Gold) exits.
“Goodbye Will!” Tina (Platinum) also exits.
“Tina, Leon, Grant…I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” Will tells them.
Later:
Leon (Lead) goes to a bar…
“I’d like a double!” Lead tells the bartender.
“Cool costume!” the bartender says.
“Bad day?” the bartender asked him.
“You don’t know the half of it!” Lead replies.
“I can’t be with my wife! I am…well…a robot!! So, what do I do now?’ Lead asks the bartender.
“You make another one of YOU to be with! That’s what!” he replies.
“Thanks buddy! Here’s a tip! See ‘ya!” Lead walks out wearing a hat that covers his face and a trench coat on.
At the same time:
It’s the X-GAMES and Gold is ‘gonna do a triple-trick on his motorcycle…
“Welcome to the X-GAMES live! Our guest we have here today is our own METAL MAN…GOLD! Gold will attempt to do a ‘triple-fire’ motorcycle jump! So, here he goes folks!” the announcer says.
Gold jumps thru the three rings of fire and makes it. “Wait, he made it…oh…this just in…A GIANT IS ATTACKING THE CITY!! It’s going after the main power lines!! The announcer says.
“Oh Gosh!! NO!! I gotta’ stop it!!” Gold replies.
At Mel’s Mechanics, Mel (Mercury) is helping a customer…
“Be with ‘ya in a ‘sec, okay? How may I help you?” Mel questions him while under a truck, not showing his face.
“Well, I need some help on my car.” The customer answers him.
“Okay. I um…ouch! My head! Oh my…!!” Mel bumps his head coming up seeing the newsflash on his TV…the same thing that Gold heard about.
“Whoa buddy! You’re the…you’re a METAL MAN! Shouldn’t you be there right now?” the customer questions Mel.
“You’re right! I’m not a mechanic…I’m a METAL MAN! See ‘ya! Oh, I didn’t catch your name?” Mel questions him.
“Jeremiah. Go get them!!” Jeremiah replies.
“I will!” Mel says excitedly.
Tim the Janitor, also hears the newsflash on the radio. Tim (Tin) leaves also.
Outside Will’s apartment:
Tina(Platinum), Nick ( Iron), Mel (Mercury) and Grant (Gold), line up to talk to Will.
“We got the memo too! We need to put aside our differences and STOP this!” Grant says.
“So, ‘WHAT’ is it, Will?” Tina questions him.
“A failed experiment, with chemicals! That’s what!! But where’s Leon?” Will wonders.
“Oh gosh! The power in your lab…look in your window…he’s re-creating it! Leon’s creating a ‘some-one’ for him to love!!” Tina tells Will.
Inside Will’s lab:
Leon makes another girl for himself to love, with the machine of test tubes…
“Curse you Will! You said I couldn’t ever be normal again. You wanted to spend your time making out with your girlfriend! Well, go ahead! I’ll just make another woman for ME to love!” Leon tells himself as he presses the lever.
Back with the others:
“We have to stop Leon.” Tina tells Will.
“No, we don’t have time. That ‘THING” is headed towards the water plant! We have to stop it!! METAL MEN…let’s go!!” Will tells them.
The reporter downtown reports:
“Hello, I’m Linda Parias and I’m reporting LIVE from downtown…this ‘THING’ is attacking San Francisco! It’s headed toward the major power plant! Where are you, METAL MEN??” she asks for them.
A 6 foot tall, green chemical monster,
“CHEMO,”
Is walking downtown shooting acid out of his hands…
“Look up in the sky…
It’s a bird…
It’s a plane…
NO…
It’s the…the…
METAL MEN!!
“Yeah! Clap! Clap! Go get them!” a citizen watching, named Jeremiah, says.
METAL MEN use Gold and Mercury as a parachute and land right in front of ‘CHEMO.’
“Look buddy, this can either go down the easy way or the hard way!!” Iron tells ‘CHEMO.’
“R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R!!!”
CHEMO shoots acid at Platinum.
“AHHH! That wasn’t very nice!” Platinum replies with acid on her hand.
“Platinum, NO!! This THING…it has ALL our abilities! But what if we use ALL our abilities TOGETHER??” Gold questions them.
“NO! There’s only one way to stop him…ME…I have a special metal in me…it’s the only way! But it won’t work-Lead isn’t here! Darn!” Will tells them as the THING (CHEMO), grabs a bus and throws it at GOLD with his acid hands. It almost hits GOLD, but someone holds it up! The bus flies at GOLD’S face and it stops! What the??” GOLD questions.
“Surprise! You started the party without me!! That wasn’t very nice now! What do you say we kick ourselves some ‘big, bad guy gut’?” Leon questions GOLD.
“Leon, good to have you back buddy!” Will tells him.
“Call me LEAD! Let’s go now! What was your plan?” he questions Will?
A helicopter flies over them.
“The METAL MEN are here!! They may save the day!” the reporter in the helicopter says.
Back with the METAL MEN on ground…
“IRON, throw me at CHEMO!
LEAD, shape yourself into a giant cage!
GOLD and MERCURY, you hit him with your shape shift hands,
And finally,
PLATINUM and TIN, stand back…
Here we go!
Oh, IRON, hammer CHEMO in a spot!
Let’s go!” Will says.
IRON throws his hand into a hammer and hammers CHEMO into the middle of the road.
“Be careful Will.” Tina tells him.
“I will. Throw me NOW!” he tells IRON.
IRON throws Will to CHEMO. While in the air, Will turns into ‘Pure White’ and runs into CHEMO! MERCURY and GOLD hit CHEMO with their shape-shifting hands…they go up like a spring! Will goes inside CHEMO’S body…CHEMO’S body turns into grey.
“NOOOOOO…!!!” CHEMO yells!
“It’s working!” GOLD says.
“Will…NO!!” PLATINUM replies.
“LEAD…now!!!” GOLD tells him.
LEAD goes over CHEMO like a LEAD cage wall…there’s a loud boooommm!!
LEAD goes back to normal!
“Will…no…please…no!” PLATINUM says.
CHEMO is frozen grey along with a smaller white statue of Will.
“It’s over! It’s over!! Will’s gone! We’re sorry PLATINUM.” GOLD and LEAD tell her.
“Wait! That sound…it’s Will!! “Platinum says excitedly.
Will’s statue breaks from pure white to…
“Tina? It’s me! And I’m not EVER doing that again!!” Will says.
“But how…??” Tina questions him.
“I don’t know, but I’m made out of METAL too!! A different one…” Will explains.
“Well, we won!! So let’s go home!!” IRON says.
On the way to Will’s apartment, Will asked Leon, “Whatever happened to your METAL wife?’
“I let it go. It’s more important to work with your friends then to love!!” Leon explains.
Waiting at the apartment:
…a lady with purple skin that smiles in an evil way…
Later, at Will’s apartment:
“Welcome to the new headquarters of METAL MEN!! Whoa! We got a call…” Will says.
A huge theatre like TV comes on…
“Hey, it’s the General…We have a mission…” Will tells them all.
“A new menace is on the lose!” the General tells them.
“We’re on it!” Will tells him.
“I love you Will!” Tina tells him.
“I love you too!” Will answers back.
“mmm!” they kissed!
“…NOT to interrupt, but we need to save the day…so let’s continue this after…” Leon tells them.
“We ARE the METAL MEN, and I’m the Leader!! So, let’s go!!!” GOLD says.
They run and ……
