My vote is for Fracture then Hero then Traveler.

I chose what I thought were some bad episodes this season.

*instantly pleased that "Wrath" isn't on the list* :p

I say that "Hero" was the worst episode of the season. I dunno, but despite all the product placement it still felt off...

Yep, I have to go with Hero as well, Pete's return left me disappointed. :\

My least favorite was Wrath. I thought the episode was a disgrace. I also didn't like Fierce and Blue and didn't think too highly of Siren. I liked Gemini, Bizarro, Kara, Lara, Cure, Hero, parts of Persona, and really liked Fracture (I don't understand why people don't like this one). Traveler made Clark look like an imbecile, but other than that it was interesting. But because he looked like a BDA, I really have to downgrade it. I thought Veritas was somewhat good (the fact that my VCR had the wrong date set up for weeks and didn't tape when I put it on timer tainted this episode for me).

----- Added 3 Minutes later -----

Yep, I have to go with Hero as well, Pete's return left me disappointed. :\

I'm not sure about you, but my disappointment wasn't that he returned (I was waiting a long time for his return) but what they decided to do with him during his return. It was similar in many aspects to Velocity, which was a cool episode, but there's no need repeating stuff that was already done. I wanted to see the seeds of his political partnership with Lex (so he can keep a watchful eye over him) get planted.

...and really liked Fracture (I don't understand why people don't like this one).
I don't get it either, Fracture is one of my favorites. I loved what Clark said to young Alexander just before he left Lex's mind.

"Because you're my friend. And now I know you're here, so I will always keep an eye out for you. I'll always be here for you."

Very Superman-like.
I'm not sure about you, but my disappointment wasn't that he returned (I was waiting a long time for his return) but what they decided to do with him during his return.
I feel the same way, I was really excited about his return. It's how they chose to use him. Ugh. It was like a rehash of season 3, I really wasn't impressed.
I wanted to see the seeds of his political partnership with Lex (so he can keep a watchful eye over him) get planted.
I would have loved to see that, it would give Pete an actual purpose.

I can't believe "Fierce" or "Wrath" arn't on that list, as they are the bottom two in my opinion.

I can't believe that "Fierce" even made it past the cutting floor. In the five worst episodes of the ENTIRE series for me.

The Lexana scene in Fracture made me hurl...that's why I didn't like it. Plus, I've never enjoyed Lex-centric episodes.

I'm trying to narrow it down to one poor episode, but I really can't. There are things about all the episodes that I love, and things about all of them that I dislike. I'm tempted to say that I disliked Gemini the most, just because I'm tired of the guest-starring terrorists.

Got to be Hero. Only episode this season that left me unsatisfied afterwards. Fierce and Wrath were alright but nothing superb. Cure was alright too but the only thing that saved that episode for me was Dean Cain as a guest star. All other episodes were fantastic IMO.

I've to say "Fierce" was the worst, followed by Kara, Lara, Blue and Hero.

I liked Bizarro, Persona and Traveler the most so far and the ones I didn't mention, were o.k. episodes, IMHO.

I don't really undestand the reasoning behind some of the options. :\ "Gemini" and "Traveler" were both pretty much well-received episodes by the K-Site fandom and "Fracture" and "Veritas" were decently received as well, yet you left "Fierce" off of the list.

I'd say "Fierce" followed by "Hero," but all the episodes this season have had their good parts.

I'm sorry, but that has to be the most ridiculous reason i have ever heard for not liking a character. I get annoyed with all the Lana haters, but at least the reasons they give for disliking Lana are valid and make sense.

You need a kryptonite twister, corny beauty pageants, introduction of a random love triangle, and the most unemotional/stupid reunion scene I've ever seen?

The only good thing I can remember in the entire episode was that Shelby was in it.

However I will give you that it was not the worst episode of Television I have ever scene. That distinction belongs to Centennial Charmed.

As somebody else pointed above, it wasn't much different then Freak of the Week episodes in the first 2 seasons. Since she was a new character, she needed an episode like this(although it could have been done better i agree). I am suprised though it not on the list because it does seem to have alot of haters.

Hero was a disappointment. They could have done so much more with Pete's character. I hoped to see a Pete, Clark, Chloe reunion, but all three of them were not even in a scene together. It was a weak plot and I felt cheated.

I thought Fierce was easily the worst episode of the season. Added nothing to the season back story, the acting was ordinary, and Clark was made to look a bigger BDA than normal (oh, you can blast green-K away with your heat vision, why didn't I think of that?). A totally pointless episode.

I felt "Fierce" was definitely the worst episode. I thought "Hero" was actually ok, but definitely not one of the best episodes of the season. The product placement was really really (yes I mention to put two reallys ;)) annoying though. "Action" and "Wrath" had some cheesy moments too.

Other than that, the season has been pretty decent. Now maybe the choices the writers have made haven't all lined up to what I would like to see, but I am speaking strictly about taking the episodes as they are.

yeah, I didn't like this episode either. The Lara-Clark interaction could have been so much more warm and emotional. Sorry, but if I as a mother would see my only child for the first time after so many years (even if she wasn't really there), I would have acted much more emotional. Maybe I'm too sentimental about things like that, but that was a huge letdown for me in that episode.
It had the potential to be much better than that and IMHO they wasted it.

I have to agree. After Fierce, I thought Blue was the next worst. Lots of fans went on about the mythos-rich quality of the episode, but I thought it was very ordinary. So my "worst-two" are definitely Fierce and Blue. Yeah, Hero was Stride-riddled but Pete was back, for heavens sake, and he'd hardly changed. SJIII did a good job, so I didn't mark Hero too harshly.

^ Actually yeah I hadn't thought about that. Hero was bloody awful. But I think I'll stick with Fierce simply because Hero at least had Pete in it, even if he was horribly misused. Fierce made Kara into a dumb shallow b****y crook, and yet somehow she was able to break out of Jail after being arrested (rightfully, as far as anyone not pertaining to kryptonian interests was concerned), and yet upon breaking out of prison suffers absolutely no consequences. At least in 'Heat' (Season 2 episode 2) Clark got off with a warning, but Kara just got away scott free.
