Episode Synopsis: Captain John Hart returns to wreak havoc upon Jack's world, who ends up getting captured. It is up to the Torchwood team to rescue him and save the city.

Just finished. Wow. Do not read the spoiler if you haven't seen it.

Very Tasha Yarr ending that, wasn't it? Really was quite emotional. Who'd have thought the death of Owen too would be seen as a loss just 12 episodes ago? Shame that we'd had hints that we were losing "a couple", with rumours of Martha returning next season full time already season I'd expected Owen, but Tosh... well, with the "couple" bit I'd certainly thought it might be her but hoped not.

Roll on Series 3!

I dont read spoilers for the show and I have to say that it was a total shock :eek: :eek: I will surely miss them both on the showe :( At this point I can't say If I am happy that Martha will be back. I hope James Marsters returns for sure. MAN THEY KILLED TOSH!

Holy sh!!!! What a killer episode! I can't believe Tosh & Owen are really gone. Aww... man. Tosh suffered soooo much, but she died a hero. That was a great touch showing Ianto deleting them from the system, & finding the goodbye video from Tosh. I accidentally got something in my eye, & it started watering. LOL!

Except for being tragic, Gray's storyline wrapped up nicely as well. Jack should've just let John Hart finish him off though, while he was unconscious so he wouldn't feel it. Now I'm going to go through Torchwood withdrawls until Season 3 starts. I'm really psyched for Doctor Who to begin tonight. I guess watching it will take my mind off of it some. Even though I have to put up with Donna for most of the season. Okay. I'm just rambling now. I'll finish off with Excellent season finale!

Definately 5 stars for me. :)

I agree! Was shocking to end that way! Was a better finale than last year, although i loved how last year merged with Doctor Who's 3rd season...

I think it could have been one more part. More story with the brother would have been nice.

Oh I sobbed (even though I knew from seeing spoilers--spoilers I didn't want to see, but that's a whole other rant!) when Tosh died. Owen not so much (I actually really dislike Owen and only occasionally could tolerate him).

Loed John and his "I love you" stuff, Jack spending 2,000 years buried alive as penance for losing Grey (wow!), and Ianto going all protective and wanting to kill people for hurting his Jack.

And did anyone else notice that everyone who has loved Jack or has been in love with him survived? Gwen, Ianto, John, Grey, they all lived. (Rhys and Andy don't count as they are ancillary characters). So I guess the key to surviving Torchwood is loving Jack? :p

No, just a great episode and a great ending to this season (totally leaves you wanting more too but with a satisfying ending).

Anyone know about Season (series) 3? I have heard that Season 2 is supposed to be available on DVD in June, I believe. Can't wait!
