At the laboratory:
In green test tubes are a gold man, a red man, a white girl, a silver man, an iron man and a human doctor. A doctor with brown hair, green jacket with fine black lines on it, black dress pants, a white shirt, and a red tie.
He puts his hands on a lever and pushes it. The test tubes open and.... <black out>
Today at Machines Inc.:
Will Magnus talks to his boss in the office. "Will, I need to talk to you. It's urgent!" He tells him.
"I know, but what about?" he questions him. "Something or someone has opened up the project ' Metal Men’ that you created. A radioactive monster is on the loose and we need to reboot the team." He tells him.
"No, that was a long time ago." Will replies.
The office door opens; "Hey guys, is everything ok?" asks a guy that looks like the 'thing' before he becomes the 'thing'.
"Yeah, great Leon!" Will answered him. "Well, Will, someone is here to see you from... you know what..."
"From Robot Industries! Darn them!" Will replies.
"Remember what I said Will" The boss tells him.
"Good bye Mr. President, Sir. Robot Industries, huh? Who did they send this time?" Will shuts the door and walks down the hallway with Leon. "Well, ummm...” Leon tries to tell him. Will opens the door, "What, Oh crud! Tina?" She is wearing a low cut whit dress.
"Will, um, what are you doing here?" She asks him.
"I work here now." He answered.
"Me too... and I am going to be your new partner!" She explains.
"You are? Oh crud"
"So, um, that’s what I was trying to tell you!" Leon tells Will.
"So, I'll see you around with Will." Tina replies.
"See 'ya" Says Will. “You and hot shot didn't hit it off so well did 'ya?” Leon asked.
"No, we didn't. It’s a long story." "Well I got time for long stories..." He tells Will.
Later:
Will, Tina and Leon sit down to discuss why they are there. The General walks in. "You are probably wondering why you are all here."
"Yes, that thought did cross my mind!" Tina replies. "Mine too!" Leon replies
"You're here to recruit the best to stop a terrible disaster. You are our best and only hope! God bless and Good luck!" He tells them.
"The first recruit, we need to find him. His name is Grant. He lives here in San Francisco with his wife and others." Will tells them.
"Oh, and others?? Great, just great!" Tina replies.
Downtown San Francisco at the X-games:
"Please take your seats and welcome to the 2008 summer X-games!" A voice says.
"I'm ‘gonna kill that kid!" Leon tells Will.
"And now, the coolest costumes ever... The Gold!" The voice tells them. “The most rockin' motorcyclist of all time... The Golden... the one ...the only... the Golden Eagle!"
"Can't that voice ever shut up?" Leon question Will.
"No, it can't! Now be quiet! We're here to do a job, so let's do it!" Will replies.
"And now... the Gold will attempt to do a stunt that no one has ever done before! Double, triple, quadruple jumps! Gold will jump the 3 school buses long with his motorcycle!" The voice tells them.
<Close up> Gold had hand on the motorcycle side ready with his eyes saying "I'm ready, so bring it on!"
The engines start and he goes for it. "There he goes folks!" The announcer says. The motorcycle jumps over 3 buses. He lands on the soft sandy ground. "He made it, he actually made it!"
The Gold sighs in relief.
"Mr. Mr., how did you do that?" The press woman asked
"Please, please, one at a time, one at a time" Gold tells them.
"I, Jonathan Blake Gold, have landed the most popular move in X-games history now! So you, with the pretty hair and body, did you miss the gun show?" He asked her while he was taking off his helmet and showing his muscle-arms off!
"Ha-Ha, my name in Tina and we are with the secret service! So let's go!"
She tells him.
“Ha, ha, ha!! Fine One minute… excuse me people, I need a word with these losers! I will comment later, thank you” Gold tells them.
The press follow him and ask, “may I have a comment? May I have a comment, PLEASE? Sir, are you under arrest?”
He says to Will and Tina, “hey, if you want to talk to me, you will have to talk to me and the press!”
“Fine, we’re taking you with us. We need your experience.” Will tells him.
“Experience with what, my guns?” He asks Will.
“Come on now, come with us!” Tina tells him.
“Fine, you have a point but who is she?” He asked “My name is Tina, remember!?”
“I will remember what you want baby!” he replies.
“Let’s just get the heck out of here!” Leon replies.
Later… Tina, Will and Leon go to an elevator and they are wondering where Will is taking them.
“Will, where are we going now” Leon asked him.
“To find our next recruite… a janitor that knows a lot about computers” Will answered them.
“Will, this is where we work… you’re looking for a janitor?? Great!” Tina says to Will.
“His name is Tim.” Will says to Tina. “Tim? Tim the janitor? My best friend in high school? Oh crud!’ Leon says.
The elevator opens.
“Tim?” Will questions the small person.
“Yes, is that you Leon? Long time no see!”
“Yeah… it has been a long time, since high school graduation, right?” He questions Leon. “Yeah, since graduation! Look pal, I know it’s been a long time, but we are recruiting people for a secret Navy project. So are you in?” Leon questions him.
“Sure I’m in. It will give us some time to catch up for old time sake.” Tim explains.
“Yeah! Old time sake! Right! Great!! I’m going to kill you Magnus!” Leon says.
“Looks like their catching up, huh?” Will questions Tina.
“Yeah, they are. Let’s go find another recruit.” Tina replies.
<Black out>
<End scene>
One day later…
Will, Tina and Leon go to find another recruit. They go to a mechanic shop.
“So, what, um, who are we supposed to see?” Tina questions Will.
“His name is Mel.” Will replies.
“Hello, Mel?” Tina questions under a truck.
“Yeah, man! Who wants to know?” He asked them.
“The secret Navy service! That’s who!” Leon answers.
“Well, excuse me for not jumping up and down, but I have a wife, children, and a job to fix dirty cars! So whatever it is, I can’t do it!!” He replies
“We need you for the project! You’re an engineer!” Will tells him.
“Well, then get off your hide and help me fix these cars and I’ll think about it!” He tells Will.
“Look buddy! It’s like this… now or never!” Leon tells Mel.
“Well, then, never!” Mel answers him.
“Well, then let’s go find the next recruit. But first, we need your help Mel. We will pay you well.” Will tells him.
“A bribe, well it’s kind of working. Fine, I’ll go! But I better have my job back when I’m done. Okay?” He asked Will?
“Okay, fine. You won’t regret this. We will have a meeting Monday morning. Be there!” Will tells him.
“I will! Meanwhile, I’ll clean these dirty babies until then! Thanks Doc! See ‘ya bright and early Monday morning.” Mel replies.
“See ya!” Will replies back to him.
“So, only one recruit left, right?” Tina questions Will.
“Yeah, only one.” Will replies.
Later:
Tina, Will and Leon go to their final recruit at a building construction site.
“So, what’s this guy’s talent, Will?” Tina asked.
“He was in the Army and he was the best in mapping and targeting! That’s great!!” Will answers her.
“Excuse me… umm… Nick Price?” Will asks him.
“Yeah, do you want me to do a job at your house or something?” He asks Will.
“Yes, a job.” Will tells him.
“You want men… I’ve been recruited… great…” He answered.
“you have been drafted to the secret service! You meet Monday morning at 8:00.” Will says handing him a piece of paper.
Nick says, “fine! I’ll be there, I always do my part to the service of the country! See you there Sir!”
“So, we got our team. Now what, Magnus?” Tina asks him.
“We meet Monday morning at the secret military service and we work at the beginning of our project. “Stopping Chemo!” Will answers.
Later on Sunday evening:
Will and the General talk…
“Tomorrow is the big day. How are you going to reboot the project?” The General asks Will.
“With this! A shot that has acid and chemicals that will melt our recruits fake skin and then they will be metal. It’s like a snake shedding.” Will explains.
“Eh-huh!!!” The General replies.
“Well, I better get busy General!” Will says.
“Yes Sir, I will se you later. Try and get some sleep, okay?” The General says to Will. “Okay.” Will replies
The next day:
Monday morning 8:00 am
Will, Tina, Leon, Grant, Tim, Mel, Nick, Price and the General all sit at a table to talk.
“Gentlemen and lady, you’re all wondering what you are doing here. You are all here to stop a nuclear disaster from happening. We have selected 7 recruits for the job. That’s you! You will stay the night to inject a shot into your um… you know… butt… and to stay in case there is any side effects. Is that understood?” The general asks them all.
“Yes Sir, General Sir! Perfectly fine!” Grant smarts off to him.
“Now enjoy a nice day and dinner tonight. Tomorrow, you go out to battle- so enjoy!” The General replies.
Later at dinner:
Tina, Will, Leon, Tim, Grant and Nick sit down dressed in black ties and tuxedos, they eat steak and sip wine.
“So, we just sip the wine, sit back and enjoy! Man, this is the life!” Grant says.
“It’s been fun catching up and all, but I should get this shot done with. I’ll be right back.” Tim explains.
“Yeah, me too.” Says Tina. “Hey, if you need some help… let me know!” Grant tells her.
“No, Grant! I don’t need help! Thanks, but hands off me now!!” Tina says, leaving her table.
Inside the boy’s bathroom:
In a stall, Grant MIGHT take the shot… MIGHT inject himself…
“Stupid shot! Will, maybe it won’t hurt… I hope!” Grant tells himself.
“What, are you chicken, hotstuff?” Do the shot and it won’t hurt!” Leon tells him.
Grant pulls his pants down and injects himself with the shot. “AHHHHH!!” He cries.
Inside Grants body:
Nanobots eat his skin
<Zoom out>
Grant comes out of the bathroom. Tina goes inside the girl’s bathroom. She grabs the shot, pulls down her skirt a little and injects herself. “AHHHHHH!!” She cries.
Inside her body:
Nanobots eat her skin
<Zoom out>
She comes out of the bathroom. She sits back down with every one at the dinner table. “Now, we’re all back…umm… AHH… my head!!” Tina yells.
“Are you okay?” Will asks her.
“Yeah, I’m fine, um, maybe it’s just the wine…um… I’m going to go! Goodbye Will.” She tells them as she leaves the table.
“Yeah, me too. It’s been really fun catching up and all… but I should go.” Tim tells Will exiting the table also.
“Yeah, me too buddy! See you tomorrow morning.” Leon also tells him while leaving.
“Yeah, me also! In fact, it’s way past our bedtime. Let’s go! See ‘ya.” Grant says goodbye.
Grant, Mel, and Nick exit the table.
Later in bed:
Grant twist and turns in the bed. Inside Grants body the Nanobots eat his skin. With Leon having nanobots in him also.
In the morning:
Leon wakes up and screams!
“NOOOOOO!” Leon says, looking at his LEAD skin.
“Ahhhh!!” Grant screams!
“AHHH! My face” Tina screams!
Tina, Nick, Grant, Mel, Tim, and Leon open their doors…
“MAGNUS!!!” They all yell!
“I’m going to kill him!” Leon says.
They march up the stairs to Will’s office.
“Hey Will?” Tina questions Will as she is sitting in his chair.
“Yes… Oh crud!! You um… !!” Will replies.
“What the devil do you do to us?? Answer us NOW!!” She demanded.
“Um… Well, it looks like you have new side effects… your um…” Will explains.
Leon chokes him! “Look buddy! What the freaking devil heck is wrong with us Magnus?” Leon questions him while still choking him.
“Well… could you let go of my shirt… collor…tie…fine! You are all METALS!! The chemical that is in you made you all METALS!!” Will explains.
“Fine! I’ll let you go now! So, we’re all METALS?? I’m going to kill you Magnus! What the heck? You’re dead Will!” Leon tells him.
They all look at the TV.
“This is Katie Mones reporting live, downtown San Francisco… A fire has a whole house… there’s still a kid and a dog inside on 34th street… 1440…” The tv says.
“Oh no… you’re NOT super heroes… you’re experiments…you’re…” Will says.
“Let’s go!! I’m the leader Will! Not you! Now excuse me, I gotta go! See ya! Tina tells Will excitedly.
“Tina, NO!! Will replies.
At the burning house:
Tina, Leon, Nick, Tim, And Mel watched the fire… “So, are we going in there?” Leon asked her.
“Yes, we are going in there! If we use our powers, we can do it!!” Tina replies.
“Oh crud!” Leon says.
They run inside the door. Inside the house, flames are all over. Leon looks for the kid with Iron’s help.
“Hello?” Leon yells for the kid.
“He’s not here!” (Cough…cough…cough) Iron tells Leon.
So, am I going to melt or what? Because I am!!” Mel starts to turn into liquid.
“Stand back! I’m going to see if I can open this door!” Yells Tina.
“Maybe I can use my good looking body to save the day!!” Grant replies standing back from the flames.
“What, are you afraid of getting melted into flames, Goldilocks??” Leon asks him.
“Shut up boys and try to help me get this door open!” Tina tells them.
“Oh, so now you want my help? Well, fine!” Leon replies.
“Look, there is a bedroom upstairs. I bet… let’s go! The little boy is probably up there hiding!” Grant tells Tina.
“Oh crud! Thanks Goldilocks! Now what? Climb up there and get our hides burned off?? We just signed our death warrants!” Leon replies.
“Maybe if we’re different metals… Leon, push on Nick. Me and Mel will push also. We can use you, Leon and Nick as a shield; a force field, if you will let us try it!” Tina explains.
“I don’t like fire, but I’ll try it!” Nick (Iron) agrees with Tina.
“I’m scared, but WOW!!” Lead’s body gets fatter and another two feet tall, like a shield.
“Watch those flames!” Leon says. They head up the stairs and the banister they hold onto, falls! They jump!
“Ahhh NO! Jump!”
They step-a-step- jump-then to the top.
“Hello? (cough… cough)” Tina again yells for the boy.
“Help me!!” The little boy answered her hiding beneath a table.
“Don’t worry! Hold on!” Tina answers the boy.
“I got him! Come on boy!” Iron tells him.
“uhh!! Don’t hurt me!” The boy tells him.
Iron picks the boy up and carries him down the stairs.
“Don’t worry kid, you’re ‘gonna be alright!” Iron tells the kid.
Outside the house:
Iron runs out of the house with the kid and the others. He puts the kid on the grass. “Breathe-come on, BREATHE!!!” Iron does C.P.R.
“H-H!!” The kid breathes.
“My baby!! You saved my baby!” The mom says in shock!
“Yeah, it was all me!!” Grant (Gold) replies.
“Thank you! What do you call yourselves?” The mom asked them.
The press goes to ask who they are:
“Who are you?”
“What are you?”
“Where did you come from?”
“Are you made out of METAL?”
“What do you call yourselves?”
“Hi! I am GOLD!” Grant explains.
“Hi Gold!” The press replies.
“I’m the leader of this team and what do we call ourselves? Umm… Well, how about… I got it! We’re made out of metal-so we’re the… METAL MEN!” Grant answers them.
On a TV:
“Just who are these superheroes in our neighborhood, San Francisco? The answer is: ‘they are THE METAL MEN!’”
The girl reporter says.

Grant comes out of the bathroom. Tina goes inside the girl’s bathroom. She grabs the shot, pulls down her skirt a little and injects herself. “AHHHHHH!!” She cries.
Inside her body:
Nanobots eat her skin
<Zoom out>
She comes out of the bathroom. She sits back down with every one at the dinner table. “Now, we’re all back…umm… AHH… my head!!” Tina yells.
“Are you okay?” Will asks her.
“Yeah, I’m fine, um, maybe it’s just the wine…um… I’m going to go! Goodbye Will.” She tells them as she leaves the table.
“Yeah, me too. It’s been really fun catching up and all… but I should go.” Tim tells Will exiting the table also.
“Yeah, me too buddy! See you tomorrow morning.” Leon also tells him while leaving.
“Yeah, me also! In fact, it’s way past our bedtime. Let’s go! See ‘ya.” Grant says goodbye.
Grant, Mel, and Nick exit the table.
Later in bed:
Grant twist and turns in the bed. Inside Grants body the Nanobots eat his skin. With Leon having nanobots in him also.
In the morning:
Leon wakes up and screams!
“NOOOOOO!” Leon says, looking at his LEAD skin.
“Ahhhh!!” Grant screams!
“AHHH! My face” Tina screams!
Tina, Nick, Grant, Mel, Tim, and Leon open their doors…
“MAGNUS!!!” They all yell!
“I’m going to kill him!” Leon says.
They march up the stairs to Will’s office.
“Hey Will?” Tina questions Will as she is sitting in his chair.
“Yes… Oh crud!! You um… !!” Will replies.
“What the devil do you do to us?? Answer us NOW!!” She demanded.
“Um… Well, it looks like you have new side effects… your um…” Will explains.
Leon chokes him! “Look buddy! What the freaking devil heck is wrong with us Magnus?” Leon questions him while still choking him.
“Well… could you let go of my shirt… collor…tie…fine! You are all METALS!! The chemical that is in you made you all METALS!!” Will explains.
“Fine! I’ll let you go now! So, we’re all METALS?? I’m going to kill you Magnus! What the heck? You’re dead Will!” Leon tells him.
They all look at the TV.
“This is Katie Mones reporting live, downtown San Francisco… A fire has a whole house… there’s still a kid and a dog inside on 34th street… 1440…” The tv says.
“Oh no… you’re NOT super heroes… you’re experiments…you’re…” Will says.
“Let’s go!! I’m the leader Will! Not you! Now excuse me, I gotta go! See ya! Tina tells Will excitedly.
“Tina, NO!! Will replies.
At the burning house:
Tina, Leon, Nick, Tim, And Mel watched the fire… “So, are we going in there?” Leon asked her.
“Yes, we are going in there! If we use our powers, we can do it!!” Tina replies.
“Oh crud!” Leon says.
They run inside the door. Inside the house, flames are all over. Leon looks for the kid with Iron’s help.
“Hello?” Leon yells for the kid.
“He’s not here!” (Cough…cough…cough) Iron tells Leon.
So, am I going to melt or what? Because I am!!” Mel starts to turn into liquid.
“Stand back! I’m going to see if I can open this door!” Yells Tina.
“Maybe I can use my good looking body to save the day!!” Grant replies standing back from the flames.
“What, are you afraid of getting melted into flames, Goldilocks??” Leon asks him.
“Shut up boys and try to help me get this door open!” Tina tells them.
“Oh, so now you want my help? Well, fine!” Leon replies.
“Look, there is a bedroom upstairs. I bet… let’s go! The little boy is probably up there hiding!” Grant tells Tina.
“Oh crud! Thanks Goldilocks! Now what? Climb up there and get our hides burned off?? We just signed our death warrants!” Leon replies.
“Maybe if we’re different metals… Leon, push on Nick. Me and Mel will push also. We can use you, Leon and Nick as a shield; a force field, if you will let us try it!” Tina explains.
“I don’t like fire, but I’ll try it!” Nick (Iron) agrees with Tina.
“I’m scared, but WOW!!” Lead’s body gets fatter and another two feet tall, like a shield.
“Watch those flames!” Leon says. They head up the stairs and the banister they hold onto, falls! They jump!
“Ahhh NO! Jump!”
They step-a-step- jump-then to the top.
“Hello? (cough… cough)” Tina again yells for the boy.
“Help me!!” The little boy answered her hiding beneath a table.
“Don’t worry! Hold on!” Tina answers the boy.
“I got him! Come on boy!” Iron tells him.
“uhh!! Don’t hurt me!” The boy tells him.
Iron picks the boy up and carries him down the stairs.
“Don’t worry kid, you’re ‘gonna be alright!” Iron tells the kid.
Outside the house:
Iron runs out of the house with the kid and the others. He puts the kid on the grass. “Breathe-come on, BREATHE!!!” Iron does C.P.R.
“H-H!!” The kid breathes.
“My baby!! You saved my baby!” The mom says in shock!
“Yeah, it was all me!!” Grant (Gold) replies.
“Thank you! What do you call yourselves?” The mom asked them.
The press goes to ask who they are:
“Who are you?”
“What are you?”
“Where did you come from?”
“Are you made out of METAL?”
“What do you call yourselves?”
“Hi! I am GOLD!” Grant explains.
“Hi Gold!” The press replies.
“I’m the leader of this team and what do we call ourselves? Umm… Well, how about… I got it! We’re made out of metal-so we’re the… METAL MEN!” Grant answers them.
On a TV:
“Just who are these superheroes in our neighborhood, San Francisco? The answer is: ‘they are THE METAL MEN!’”
The girl reporter says.
