Brainiac and Kara flew through a boom tube to Apokolips, where Darkseid has agreed to recreate Krypton if Brainiac provides him with Kara. The Martian Manhunter witnesses their flyby from the satellite and goes off to rescue Kara and escapes, returning Kara to earth. Brainiac leaves Apokolips and heads to earth and fights Clark, Kara and the Martian Manhunter in an epic battle in Smallville’s 150th episode, appropriately titled “Apocalypse.” After Brainiac’s destruction, Darkseid is seen in space and sends a fleet of fighters to earth. Something along those lines will happen.

Would they really have the budget for Apokolips, Darkseid, Boom tube, Krypton revisted? I'm wishing, hoping, and thinking its along the lines of those, but yea.

CW is too cheap for that but hey one can dream. i would love to see all that surface and probably see darkseid coming in the season finale and possibly arrives in the season 8 premiere and him be the villain for some of the season.

My theory is that if it is Darkseid, we will never see him. They'll pull the same crap they did with Lex and Zod.

It does sound like a good idea. If it played out like that, then it'd be nice. But b/c of the budget...there's doubts. :( It seems more movie-ish than TV show-ish feel to me. It could bring in A LOT of money in the box office if done properly (or if done at all :(). :D

Darkseid would be awesome...but would he actually LOOK like Darkseid?! Bizarro's appearance was a cop out and Brainiac's true form being a liquid alloy was as well. Unless they get some Star Trek makeup artist to make a Darkseid Mask, I won't be impressed. I guess I'm a little tired of people (MM, Brainiac) being a shapeshifter.

I've wondered what would happen if they decided to bring Darksied to Smallville- and While Superman has always fought him to a stalemate, there's no way he wouldn't mop the floor with Clark. That being said, I've gotten kind of annoyed that Darksied has become the ubervillain in superman's universe, when he didn't start out that way. How's Clark supposed to beat him when he isn't even at full strength yet?

I would love to see all of that...that would be awesome. But I'm betting we'll only see a small amount of that.

Cool guess I agree with the idea that there is not budget for that on CW but I think we at least get a little of it. What if MM rescues Kara and Brainiac bring Kaliban and who knows maybe Orion ;). Make up is not that expensive.
