Lionel isn't bad in my opinion, he wanted clark returned discreetly I think he was protecting him.

I'm a HUGE Chlark fan, don't get me wrong, but maybe it was just "I love your son" without meaning it in a romantic way... I don't know since I haven't seen the scene (and the whole episode for that matter) yet :D Can't wait to see it !!!! I've already seen 4 scenes !! Agreed. IMO John Glover gave his best performance in years, I loved everyone of his scenes especially the first scene he had with Patricia and his final scene with Clark.

I'm not a Chlarker but the line delivered by Chloe sounds really sweet. My only gripe is that it seems Terence Stamp doesn't say anything as Jor-El this episode. Kinda cheap how he never responded to Chloe :(
