Sypnosis:
People are going missing on the streets of Cardiff. As Jack and the team dig deeper, they begin to realise that the rift isn't a one way system. Jack seems convinced that there's nothing to be done, but Gwen takes an obsessive interest in bringing back the claimed citizens.
"What if the rift does'nt just give, what if it takes?"-Toshiko SatoOh, and PC Andy's back!!!

It's nice to see rhys the invertebrate do some acting. Definitely one of the better episodes of the series, I'm just wondering if what Jonah looked at was the untempered schism...It does sound very much like that.
Just watched it, found it a bit average - even with Ruth Jones. Didn't grip me, but was better than last week's shoddy affair.
Reminder for everyone, episode 12 is on THIS FRIDAY (ie, tomorrow night) on BBC3 at 10.30. The BBC2 showing has also moved to Fridays at 9, and the show has permanently moved there from now on. Although there's only one episode left after this one!

This episode was so sad. Poor Jonah (That was his name right?). I especially felt sorry for his Mother. It gave that overall feeling of helplessness, like you wanted to do something, but knew there was no easy answer. I guess not knowing whatever happened to him would have been better. Why didn't Gwen just give her and Jonah the amnesia pill? Woiuldn't that just make sense?
Did you see Rhys tell Gwen off in the park?! Daaaamn!!!
I kind of don't blame him though. Gwen has changed alot. Like PC Andy said, she's become "hard." She's going to have to give him some sense of normalcy in his life, or just give him an amnesia pill. I don't think they make one for the length of time that he's known now..... do they?
On a lighter note, I liked it when Gwen walked in on Jack & Ionto doin' the deed. That was definately a Kodak Moment. LMFAO! :rotfl:
The announcer said Torchwood returns next week to BBC HD, with the last 3 episodes. Friday at 9.
I'm confused. Are you sure that's tomorrow night? He definately said "next week."
And does that mean that they'll show "Fragments," and maybe "Exit Wounds" could be a 2 parter, or am I missing a title?
Definitely tomorrow night, have already added it to my Sky+ (Tivo?) from the planner. 2.11 @ 9 on BBC2, 2.12 @10.30 on BBC3. Just watching a Blu-Ray at the moment, when it's finished I'll check the BBCHD listings - it's a separate channel, it may well be that they're not showing it until Wednesday - I don't have an HD box so don't (can't!) watch it on that.
----- Added 25 Minutes later -----
Right, it's not on HD tomorrow, that's stuck until Wednesday.
After tomorrow though, the next (final) episode is on BBC2 on 11th April. There is no BBC3 episode next week (which is what they always do with "advance showing" BBC3 shows in fairness).

No offence randy, but living in the UK, we get the announcements after the show instead of having them edited out on torrent. :p
And at least US torrenters edit out the closing credits etc. ;)
Well, so I hear as I've obviously *never* indulged in such a practice.

I see the show on Wednesday nights, the full credits, and hear the voiceover announcements during the credits. It's not the BBC America version.
Torrent? (*clears throat) What's that? (Rhetorically)
I may just have some satellite service or something. ;)
Anyway, I'll be sad to see this season come to an end, but excited to see Doctor Who start back up. :D

The episode was ok, but I didn't shed a tear for the mother or boy. It didn't grip me as it should have

I can't believe i didn't comment here about this yet!
Well, this ep. was pretty average for me (I can't believe it didnt' occur to any of the team--besides Jack, apparently--that the Rift might also take as well as give! Sheesh!). Lottsa Gwen--and you'd think she would have faith in Jack by now!--doing the empathy thing, which kinda annoys me sometimes. "Oh, I'm Gwen and I am so in touch with common people!"
I didn't care for Rhys this episode either. He wants to be part of Gwen's life and he knows how important Torchwood is but he doesn't want her to talk about Torchwood?! WTF?
I did love the Janto moments. And loved that it was Ianto who led Gwen to the secret (SO Ianto of him!). I wonder just how many of Jack's secrets he does know?
It was nice to see Andy again though. Though I felt like smacking Gwen when she was using him (c'mon, she could have let him come on the boat!).
